The next week flew by again, and their holiday had gotten lonely. Kole was desperate to get home and even Molly missed the laziness the city could provide. Kole called his mother. "Mother, I appreciate you wanted us away for a while... but we want to come back." He asked. "I was waiting on this call. Actually son, there is something I must tell you. I've sent Marve to fetch you, he should arrive in a few hours. Be ready." She announced. "Grazie, Mamma." He hummed, dropping the call and spinning around to go tell Molly they would be leaving. He decided to leave out that he rang her and just say that his mother wanted to see them.

"Why would Marve not call you first?" She groaned as she packed all her new bikinis back into her suitcase. Taking a look at the bulging suitcase in front of her, she realised she had bought a lot more since arrival. She binned a couple outfits and grumbled to herself as she picked away her things. Kole observes this, pleases that he hadn't told her it was his idea to leave, he knew he shouldn't lie to her so soon but he had duties too, their love couldn't be his only priority.

And so, they began their journey again. The long ride home ahead of them, conflicted feelings, they were parallel. Molly sat head on window feeling more devastated the closer they got. Kole on the edge of his seat desperate just to see the crowded roads, The Hound and his home again.

The trip home was as boring as you could imagine, neither really spoke, they mostly zoned into their phones. Marve was clearly bored too. After a few hours in, Kole and Marve had a short conversation. "Hey Marve, we taking a break this time?" he asked. "No, sir, your mother said she wants you there as soon as possible." Marve replied. "And you're not going to get tired?" Kole askeh, unconvinced. "I can manage, sir." Marve assured. "As you wish." Kole sighed. Molly ignored their conversation, she was still sulking about returning, she didn't even know where she would live. At around 8pm they drove through the city border. "Marve, let's show Molly what we own." Kole smirked. "What?" Molly groaned, snapping out of her daydream. "I'm gonna show you our area." he announced. "Why would you do that?" She questioned, suspicious of his motives. "Well, you're my girlfriend now, you needa know where I come from." he explained as Marve made a sharp right turn. They drove down a street that was very different to Molly's side of town. The exterior of each house was peeling off, most windows were boarded up with newspaper and the ones that weren't were cracked. Kids cluttered the streets, dressed in clothes that didn't fit them, they sat in the middle of the roads, careless to the cars around them. "You grew up here?" asked Molly. "I did." confirmed Kole. "But-" she whispered. "Yes, I am rich now. That is down to my father, he didn't want me to continue my life in this so he took us out, me, Kelly and my mother." he continued. Molly didn't speak, she just listened knowing that he was reminiscing and that he may have needed some time.

After the drive through Kole's childhood, they arrived at the mansion. Saying nothing more, they walked up to the door. Without knocking, Kole opened the door, "Mother!" he yelled. At his call, Angela elegantly appeared, dressed in a long red dress with her long brown hair bouncing down her shoulder. She looked stunning. If this is what a drug lord's wife looks like then i am in, thought Molly. "Children!" Angela cried as she tiptoed down the steps.

They sat in the kitchen, once again, just He three of them. "First, my son, tell me about your vacation, anything significant?" Purred Angela. Molly knew what was coming next, Kole would drop the bomb on her, he'd tell her that Molly was finally his. "Actually yes mother, me and Molly decided we wanted to take things further, we are officially a couple." He informed, speaking in a semi-professional tone. "Oh... i'm glad to hear it, although I didn't think you did relationships honey." Angela admitted. "She's special." Agreed Kole.

"However, down to business, as you know son, I ordered you to leave, what you don't know is why and why I made you take Molly with you." She pronounced. "What's been happening." Molly piped in. "Your correct to see that I had a motive. I convinced your father to help you out, Molly will be protected, i also wanted you to leave so that you couldn't be blamed if anything happens to Gomez." She explained. "Who's Gomez?" Molly asked. "Charlie. It's his last name." Kole whispered.

Charlie Gomez... what a weird name, thought Molly. "I must inform you that Gomez is well, his injuries were not as bad as I had initially thought, I've invited him over. I need to talk to Kole and Charlie together, so I'm going to need you to join Kelly upstairs, Molly." Informed Angela.

On time, Charlie opened the door. Kole turned to him, unsure whether to hug him or run for the hills, he had really damaged Charlie he could see that, Charlie had a faint scar reaching from his left eyebrow across his nose to his right cheekbone that hadn't been there before. Knowing there was nothing she could do, Molly retreated upstairs to Kelly, excited to tell her all the things that had been going on and find out how The Hound was, in spite of missing her holiday life.

"Before you apologise, you were right." Charlie insisted. "Charlie, I hurt you man." Whimpered Kole. "I pull more chicks with this anyway." Smirked Charlie, pointing at his new scar. "I am so sorry Charles." Kole stammered. "Hey! Leave it, at least I have a cool new story to tell the guys." He grinned.

"Back to the point lads." Demanded Angela. Obediently, the boys stood side by side, ears perked and listening to Angela. "In convincing your father to let you keep you leadership, I also managed to persuade him to help you find Max. I believe you're right, Kole, he is a danger and your are lucky you didn't got to the cops, you know how corrupt they can be... therefore I must tell you that I sent Charlie on a mission to get to know this new enemy." Angela declared.

"So, friend, what did you find?" Kole's requested. "Man... this was a crazy one.
Kole, he's a stone-cold killer. He was part of the robbery we had last year too. You know where Mr.Geraam died? But the crazy shit is... he's part of that gang." Charlie reported. "What? But why would he kill his own leader?" Asked Kole.

"See, Max was locked away for two years when he was fifteen he came out at seventeen obsessed with this girl, none of his group knew who she was, they said he's always been crazy but after prison he just snapped, started talking bout how this girl had stolen his best friend and he was gonna ruin her life or something , I guessed that was Molly so I did some digging. His friend caused Tammy's car accident." Slang Charlie.

That statement echoed through Kole's ears, Tammy was Molly's adoptive mother, he knew that much, and now he had suspicions that Max purposefully killed Tammy. "I'll kill that son of a bitch." Grunted Kole. "I thought you'd say that, so I went a bit further." He announced, leaning into Kole. Kole knew his friend had found something now, they both knew it would lead to danger and Thai spring them to the edge of their seats. Noses almost touching their eyes glistened with the excitement of the chase. "What you do." Uttered Kole. "I found Max."
