Tonight

"Pupunta na ho... ba kayo sa meeeeting?" sabi ko na tila ay hinihingal pa.

"Tumakbo ka ba papunta rito, hija? You look so tired, pupunta na nga ako ruon kaso ay mag-ayos ka muna ng sarili at hihintayin kita para makasama ka sa meeting namin ng board members. Agad akong sumunod sakaniya at nagre-touch tapos inayos ang damit kong nalukot na sa kakatakbo ko.

"I'm done, let's go po." magalang kong saad.

We came to the meeting and I realize that board members are all here and patiently wating for us.

"I'm sorry for being late for 5 minutes, my new secretary had an emergency." panghihingi ng pasensiya ni Daddy at umupo sa upuan duon sa dulo ng lamesa habang ako naman ay naka-upo lang sa likod niya.

"Magkamukha kayo nang bagong secretary mo, Mr. Tuaze. Anak mo ba ang dalagang kasama mo?" one of the board members asked.

He nodded and say; "Shall we start?"

The meeting started and everyone is also looking at me and shock by my Daddy says about me. I tried to focus on what the girl is saying about a restaurant that my Dad wants to build in Cebu.

Namangha naman ako kung gaano sila ka-organized sa mga plano nila at alam na agad nila kung paano ang gagawin at ang mga expectations na mangyayari in the future once it'll build.

The meeting ended and the board members are starting to asked but he just say sorry.

"I'm going to answer all of your questions to our upcoming party for my wife and my daughter, please be patient for that." He stated and he walked out so I followed him.

"Are we still pushing that, Dad? Napag-uusapan na tayo ng mga nagtatrabaho rito," tanong ko sakaniya habang naglalakad kami pabalik ng office niya.

"Yes, trust me princess. Our plan will work," he said and just smile at me.

I just nodded and force myself to smile a bit for him.

'Sana ay walang mangyaring masama sa amin, at sa araw na iyon.' I silently prayed.

"Are you done reading this, Claire?"

I nodded and handed the papers to my Dad. He accept it and he go back to his desk to read it also and sign the papers.

"They do it organized and they maintain the property so it is not that bad if we accept their offer." I said while he keep on reading it.

It's been 3 days since I started walking and I feel the pressure and stress from my Daddy's paper! Kapag maraming meeting or pupuntahang events si Daddy ay ibinabagsak niya sa akin ang mga trabaho niya matapos niya akong turuan kung paano ang gagawin ko.

How dare he do this to me?! Anak ba talaga niya ako?!

"I agree with you, Claire. I'll sign this. By the way, what is my schedule for today 'nak?" Now he has the gut to call me his daughter after he give me a lot of paper works!

I heavily sigh before I turn my gaze on my small notebook where do I write my Dad's schedule.

"You have a lunch meeting for this afternoon 11:00 am with Mr. Guevarra, after that you can proceed to visit our newly build restaurant in Quezon City for inspections and oh... you can go in Makati while l am proofreading this papers and then sign if it's good. I also check if you'll have meeting for tomorrow para naman hindi na ako nagugulat at naguguluhan sa daming nagpapa-sched ng meetings."

He just laugh at me while I was reading his schedule.

"You already making a progress, princess. You are doing good being my secretary," he said and stood up from his seat and look at his wrist watch.
