i sigh and pop my head out from under the covers, "yeah i did. and you don't have to say anything, i know i messed up."
"at least he's a good guy. some guys would have taken advantage of the moment," she points out.
"mhm."
"he said he's not going to tell daniel unless you decide to."
"why does everyone care what daniel thinks?!"
she gives me a wild look, probably shocked at my outburst.
"he didn't care what i thought when he was messing with other girls while we were together. so why should i give a fuck about what he thinks?" i barely whisper out.
"ella, you don't know for sure that he was even doing any of that-"
"really lo? you're defending him?"
she sighs, "all i'm saying is that he looked pretty torn up down there. he was so drunk that he hit crawford, yelling about how you guys are pretty much endgame, even if you're not together right now."
"please stop."
"you know you still love him. the others might not see it, but i am your best friend. you love him, ariella."
"i said stop, okay?"
"alright well.. everyone left except for zach. he crashed in the guest bedroom," willow explains.
"okay. i'm gonna sleep. my head hurts. i think i drank too much."
"you think?"
i laugh, "okay i get it. goodnight lo. and thank you, for the party and for everything."
"of course. i'm going to sleep on the couch."
"there's another bedroom-"

i glare at her, "tell me he isn't."
she shrugs sheepishly, "oops i wasn't going to tell you. look i'll make sure that you avoid daniel in the morning but yeah... after he attacked crawf, we put him upstairs. he passed out so i told them they could leave him there."
"ugh whatever. i'm too tired to care."
