i can't help but pace around the room nervously. it took two whole hours to pick out an outfit that looked decent enough on me, and i'm still not sure it's good enough.
my palms are sweating and i have to stop myself from messing with my hair... again.
"yo daniel, calm down bro," jack speaks up from the chair in my room as he finishes the round of call of duty.
"i can't. what if she changed her mind? hell i wouldn't blame her."
"dude she's the one who invited you out. maybe she's forgiven you for... yeahhh."
"you can say it, i already owned up to it," i sigh and take a seat at the edge of my bed.
"look whatever happens is meant to happen. don't stress out over it. besides we all know you two are soulmates. if it doesn't happen now, it will eventually," jack smiles encouragingly at me.
he has a point. and i will do anything to get my soulmate back. to earn her trust again.
to get her to love me.
i just hope this goes well.
