"actually though... i uh, do have something planned for tonight..."

he shakes his head, laughing to himself, "not in that way ella."

"oh right. i just thought..."

"no i don't want to rush into that. which kind of makes no sense considering what i'm about to do."

i give him a confused look, gently grazing my fingers across his jawline, "what?"

he steps back a little and what he does next shocks me;

he kneels down on one knee.

"daniel, what are you doing? get up."

"ellie calm down. you're making me really nervous."

"me?! you're making me nervous. oh my God, please get back up," i mumble once i realize that he isn't moving from his position.

"just listen okay?" he tells me, his words soft.

i nod slowly, trying to calm myself down.

"ariella i love you with everything in me. they say that the feeling is uncontrollable when you find the one that's meant for you and i didn't believe that until i actually met you. everything you are, everything you do is like.. magic. i know that sounds cheesy but i swear you have my heart ella. you have all of me and i will never, ever hurt you again. i know i don't deserve you, but for some reason i'm lucky enough to have another shot with you. and when you know, you know.

my eyes go wide and i'm sure i stopped breathing minutes ago.

"ariella kay mason, will you marry me?"
