Ughhhh What I would give not to work here anymore.. imagine a life where you didn't necessarily need a job. I mean... the Akatsuki don't have to work in an office, a shop or whatever. I suppose they had missions but still ..! That sounds more fun than this right about now.

Looking up at the clock you notice it's almost time for lunch.

Finally.

However, something catches the corner of your eye. You peer out the window, pulling a confused and yet nervous face. You peer around hoping no one else at your work has noticed what you have but Kakuzu is standing right outside looking at you through the window. How the hell did he find out where I work...?
It appears from the bouncing of his index finger, that he is counting the stories of the building to figure out which room you're in.

"Hey Boss is it possible to go on my lunch break now?" You say in a panic hoping no one would see the masked, stitched up man outside the company office.

Your boss waves for you to head out, paying no attention whilst he is too engrossed with some paperwork. You scurry out as fast you could and find yourself bumping into Kakuzu just before he entered the building. Grabbing his arm you start pulling him away from the building. You hold onto his shoulders, "Kakuzu you could have at least covered your arms up, what if my co-workers saw you?"

He stays silent staring at you. You sigh.. "What's up, how come you're here?" you question.

"I need money"

You stare blankly at him. It's almost as if he could see the question marks circle around your head, "You won so much at the Halloween Fair though? Thanks to yours truly..and Deidara..." You sigh a nervous breath, "Please don't kill people"

Kakuzu stares back at you, still not uttering a word.

"Can we talk about this at home? I'll come up with something by the time I get back" you whisper, hoping he will accept and leave.

"What's wrong with you?"

"I just don't want you to give someone a heart attack thinking you're robbing the place or severely injured or something. You're masked up with all your stitches on display".

He nods understanding the situation and flash steps back home. You sigh in relief and head back indoors to eat your leftover bento lunch from the fair.

What the hell could Kakuzu do? It's not like the shinboi world here, they won't understand how his body works so they need to stay put.. No way would he work in a supermarket..As hilarious as the sight would be.. Kakuzu in a little apron, packing plastic bags of groceries for elderly women and taking them to their cars hehehe

You start flicking your pen back at forth between your fingers, tapping the table in front of you as you munch away on some teriyaki chicken and rice.

There's no way he could work here.. he would hate it. What about a bank? {Picture the scene, Kakuzu going into the vault seeing all the money, then stealing it all} No no.. that won't work. You sweat drop at the thought and place your head in your hands. Why does this have to be so hard?!

As the work day ends you begrudging walk back home the long way, still trying to figure out what Kakuzu can do, you can't expect him to be able to understand a computer, he isn't exactly a people person either so he wouldn't enjoy too much face to face communication. You look up to the sky and notice it starts to rain slowly, getting harder and harder; pouring in fact.

The one day I don't bring an umbrella..

You attempt to pull your shirt slightly over your head, exposing your back slightly but with this all to no avail, you rather have your hair dripping wet than rain run down your back.

Kicking a stone on the pathway towards home through the streets you look around at the types of buildings that surround you. Anything that would spark an idea. You really wanted to help him however you didn't want to come back home empty handed.

What if I can't find something for him to do? They'll have to find a way to return home faster than before.. then I won't be able to see them again. I don't want them to go..

You growl in frustration and kick the pebble hard making it bounce against the curb and into the road.

You hold your hand out.

Why can't I feel rain anymore?

You look up, seeing the person you were thinking about, hunched over you holding his jacket above you looking down at your face. He narrows his eyes at yours. "Don't look at me like that.." you pout looking away, yet standing closer to him so you both can fit underneath.

You still feel his eyes burning into you, which slowly agitates you. It's not his fault, you're just stressed about all the overthinking you did, realising they may have to go home.

"Kakuzu, what did you used to do for money?"

He looks forward whilst walking with you, "Bounty Hunting".

You stop walking, pausing in the rain with your head looking down. Kakuzu stops and turns, realising you're no longer aside him. He tilts your head up by your chin to look at him. You're grinning which only makes him look in confusion at you.

"I'm such an idiot, I've been worrying all day that you'll have to leave if I couldn't think of anything. But you can just do what you've always done! Bounty hunting!" You sigh with relief, lightly skipping forward. "But you can't kill, bounty hunters here can be imprisioned for killing the fugitives, so Hidan absolutely cannot join y-"

Your words become broken as you're pulled back by your arm towards Kakuzu.

"What gives?" you look up to him in surprise.

"You've been worried all day that we will have to leave?"

Your cheeks hastily glow a pinkish tone in embarrassment realising you said this out loud.

"Well..yeah..It's been great since you guys came along, I kinda.. wish you never have to leave.." you mumble to yourself, getting upset over the thought.

Kakuzu awkwardly pulls you in for a one armed hug, resting his chin on your head scrambling to keep the jacket on top of the two of you but failing miserably. "Idiot, we're not going anywhere right now, even if we tried".

You blush and smile into his chest, returning the hug.
