"What cha doing Sasori?"

Sasori is in garden with a giant tree trunk he cut down in the woods the other day.

"Making a puppet" he states with little to no interest, focusing on cutting up the tree. He mumbles to himself "Ugh, if only I had my tools".

You head to the shed and drop everything you own in front of him. "Any of these of good use?" He stares at you expressionless "No." He gets up and walks indoors.

What the hell, man..

You follow Sasori into the house "Hey I'm only trying to help.."

"Don't take it personally, this is just how Sasori is. Dead inside" Deidara says sipping on his tea in the kitchen.

"Is that a comment to the fact I'm a puppet?" Sasori retorts towards the blonde haired male.

"No its probably a comment to the fact you're so dull and boring because no one understands your boring 'art'!" Hidan interrupts joining in the conversation

"Boring art?! You don't know the meaning of art.." Sasori spat walking away.

"What's Sasori's 'art'?" you question.

"Making puppets he uses to fight, he even walks around inside one of them yet he is one himself. He even turned the Third Kazekage into a puppet too" Deidara whispered to you so Sasori can't hear.

"Creepy fucking things they are" Hidan includes.

You pause holding your chin, thinking. "I have an idea!" You scurry off, grabbing your bag and keys.

"Come on Sasori! We're going out" You grab his hand heading towards the front door, before you get through the door he pulls back "Like hell I'm going with you"

You open the door wider "Just trust me Sasori, please? I'm trying to do something nice"

Before he can either respond Deidara and Hidan both push him out the door. You smile at the guys, thanking them and stating you won't be long. Sasori grumbles walking alongside you.

*Click* you open your car door. "Get in"

The red head stares at your car, he's never been a car or understood what they are.

"Imagine this is your puppet you walk about in, just sit in the car please" You say motioning your arm for him to get in. You poddle over to the driver seat, turn the car on and start driving. The drive was quiet. You didn't mind it really, you knew it was best to wait for Sasori to speak first. You didn't wanna annoy him any further. After all, you you dragged him out against his will..with the aid of the others.

You pull up to your destination. You nod your head in the direction of the shop you're aiming for so Sasori knew where you're headed. You both walked in and for a puppet who does not produce any emotions, his eyes grew at the sight before him. You took him to a craft shop with a hardware store next door. There is literally anything and everything Sasori could ever want to create his puppets.

You grab a basket and pass it to Sasori "Now you can get all the tools you need"

He looks at the basket silently, hesitantly taking it and walking off. You choose to just idly walk through the aisles leaving Sasori to it. You didn't know how to act around him but you wanted him to like you. You secretly knew he does, he just...doesn't like to show it or maybe its that he simply doesn't know how to. When you first met everyone, upon instant first impressions you assumed Kakuzu would be the hardest. It was difficult but you eventually managed to have a conversation with him and feel that he enjoys your company. You assumed Sasori would be much easier.

You stumble across an area in the corner containing all the miniature war-game figurines. You've always been fascinated at the intricate paintwork and details people can create. You pick up a character, a female archer with a dire wolf companion. You stare in awe at its detail..especially the wolf's crimson eyes.

Sasori spots you from the end of the aisle, pausing to look at you. "*Sigh*..I should be nicer to her.." he mumbles to himself walking up to you. "What's that?" Sasori queries peering over your shoulder.

"Its a little mini figurine. I just love how they are painted, I wish I could make something as amazing as this. I am a creative person, just not THIS good you know?" You say giving him a small, soft smile.

"Tell me, what do you consider art?"

"Well...I suppose art to me can be anything. A painting, a sculpture, a dance, fashion, a film.. Something that's created with feeling.. It can last forever or it can be temporary. Some things may eventually wither away over time but the memory of it stays. And some things withstand and last on earth forever, to be viewed by all generations of people. I guess that is art to me"

Sasori paused taking in your version of art. The fact that you had such a personal opinion that wasn't defined by his or Deidara's views just gave him a whole new hidden respect for you. "Beautiful.."

"Huh? You say something?"

"Nothing. Lets go, I don't like to be kept waiting" Sasori signals for you to walk ahead of him.

You head to pay for the tools he picked up and did the same in the hardware store. A sweat drop appears from the back of your head, seeing how full your car is with materials and tools. I guess in this world there are more options for someone like Sasori. The drive back was quiet again but that's okay. You eventually learnt to accept that this is how Sasori is, you just hope he accepts you equally back. You pull up outside your home, unbuckling your seatbelt. Just before you open your car door Sasori puts his hand on your shoulder. You turn to face him. He isn't looking at you but he brings his other hand out and places something into your hand.

"I apologise for the way I was, but hearing your view on art and the way you've treated the Akatsuki and myself... you're not so bad" He pulls his hand away for you to see the mini figurine of the female archer and her companion that you were eyeing up. Your eyes widen at the sight.

You turn to face the redhead, closing your eyes smiling at him and say "You're not so bad yourself". You put your arms out, waiting for him to accept or refuse your gesture.

"...like I have a choice" he rolls his eyes, "You got that right" you pounce on him giving him a tight hug giggling. At first he is tense, but slowly eases and accepts the gesture. He grew up feeling lonely, but now...thanks to you, he isn't anymore.
