Kisame is sitting in the living room. Pouting. "What's wrong, Kisame?" Itachi dropped his book lower from his face, to show he is giving Kisame his attention. "Samehada.." Kisame rests his cheek on his fist as he closes his eyes wondering if Samehada is alright. "Without my chakra for Samehada to feed..I'm worried if I'll even have a sword after this. It has been some time.."
*At the Akatsuki hideout*
Samehada had grown weak, shrinking in size due to the lack of chakra. The shark skin mourned after the fact Kisame's scent and chakra is not visible to it anymore, fearing that he is in danger, lost or perhaps worse; Dead.
*Day after Pain and Konan returned to base*
"?" Konan peered down the hall after hearing some rustling. She reaches Kisame's room and listens in. "What are you doing, Konan?" Pain surprises her by standing very closely to her, listening through the door as well. They both look at each other assuming Kisame has returned and is in the room and knock. No answer, more rustling and bumps on the door. Pain leans over and opens the door, he dodges a flying Samehada who jumps and clasps onto Konan's shoulder munching away. "GET THIS THING OFF ME!" Konan starts panicking as she feels her chakra reducing, the weight of the shark skin growing slowly on her shoulder. Pain has never been in this situation before and starts to think. "I read somewhere once that if you *punch* hit the nose of a shark, it scares them away" Samehada lets go of Konan and growls. She drops to the floor, weakened by Samehada. Although the sword wasn't satisfied with the taste of her chakra, it needed replenishment at least. Something is better than nothing. Pain picked Konan up bridal style and walked away towards the living room.
Pain hears a deeper growl emit from the swords mouth as it wriggled and crawled towards the two. Pain picks up the pace getting a little anxious at what's happening but avoids showing it. Konan opens her eyes and looks over Pain's shoulder and gasps. "RUN LEADER-SAMA, SAMEHADA IS ABOUT TO GET US" Pain jumps onto the table and watches the weak Samehada attempt to climb up to bite them but struggles. Pain and Konan look at one another and sweat drop. "I guess we're stuck here until we think of a better plan"
