It was a good day and the waves at Miami beaches were perfect to ride them today, Niya Smith was a senior at Miami high she loves the beach and everything about it since she was a kid, also shes a great at surfing.. "Hey! Niya you will be late get out of the water and let's go!" "I'm coming dad just one more wave and ill be there" her dad huffed and pulled his wife near him "she's really a sea girl huh" she said he smiled watching his daughter surfing and they got back inside the house.
The girl got out of the water with a wet hair looking beautiful under the bright sun touching her skin and her golden hair the sea matching her blue eyes leaving everyone who look at her lost in her beauty, she got under the outside shower in her backyard took off her clothes to get rid of the salt, "wheew! Kami and her friends were sitting at there usual place talking, than kami broke her silence and said "guys I need to tell you something" everyone looked at her and Jacob said "omg don't tell me the dog ate your pussy" he laughed "what a jerk" Mila said looking at Kami with curious eyes "what is it you look like your about to say a secret or something".. Kami took a deep breath and said "well I met a girl.." Jacob cut her off and said "does she has a sister" "JACK!" Michel yelled "sorry sorry I'm just joking Jess" "okay and what's all that about" Michel replied, Kami sat with one leg across the other and said in a hurry "I won't make it long guys I want you to know that I'm gay", the friends looked at each other and said all at once "we knew it" "HUH!" Kami said surprised "what! How everyone knew about that" "Girl it shows" Mila looked at her "we are glad you came out finally "well I did not know and now I know and that's amazing Kams!!" Anna said hugging her while the rest joined her into a big hug.. they sat back and started to ask such question about when she knew and how it is with her parents, she told them that she came out yesterday and everything went good "okay that's cool Senior year no fear" the other said toghter laughing "SENIOR YEAR NO FEAR".

"Hey leave her alone!" The groups head someone yelling "what are you going to do about nerd! are you going to kick my ass" laughs were louder, kami got up to see what's going on to see bunch of the football team boys bullying a boy who tried to protect and other girl who stood behind him.. "hey" she said standing in front of the boy "why don't you take your boys and get the fuck out of here" he laughed at her words and said "or what Supergirl" "I'll break ur face" the boys laughing louder and he looked at her in a sarcastic way putting one hand on her shoulder.. in a blink of an eye the boy was on the ground with a broken nose after she punished him on the face "oh shit oh shit ..." Phones were out taking pictures of the boy on the ground and kami standing by his head, asking the boy and the girl to head out..
"Miss Louther, Miss Louther to the principal office right now" Kami heard an announcement few minutes later, she got in troubles and end up at a detention. "Crap" she huffed.

The girl made her way to the detention room to find Eda and an other girl there too. "hey!" Eda said "what did you do you to end up with us" she added smiling in fact happy to see kami there, "bunch of Jackass boys were on my way and.. " you beat them up" kami replied laughing "they deserve it" "sure do boys are pain in the ass" the other girl said looking at kami "this is Niya I just met her here too" "well it seems like we are stuck for now huh" "and we got some work to do" Eda said pointing to the messy room they need to clean before the end of the day.
The girls started the work talking about random things and how they ended Up here "what did you do sexy accent? why are you in a detention" "I was smoking weed, but the principal knows me so it was a light punishment" kami looked at her and said "hippie life or from time to time" "let's just say I had to clear my head..." Kami nodded "life can get so messed up huh" "oh tell me about it" Niya said from behind.

The girls finished the work early enough, sat for hours talking about life, getting to know each other and got along, enjoyed the company... "What is your talent" Eda asked Niya "I won't say talented but I love surfing" "I love the beach" kami said joyfully " I know right it's my peaceful place" what about you, "uhm I don't know but I love karate-do and music, I play guitar and sing sometimes", "that's why you can kick asses huh!" Niya giggled while Eda placed a hand on Kami's shoulder "I need to hear your music" kami didn't agree because she was shy but ended up forced to sing for them (someone you loved by Lewis Capaldi) and the room was blessed to hear the angles singing.. the girls thought that her voice was amazing and that she should share more of it with the world.. "damn can she can sing too"..

5 hours of detention were enough for the girls to get close to each other and plan for the next time they hang out again. "We must make a girls night soon you know" "we sure should" Eda said .. "so it's the three of us" the girls agreed and the room was full of cute laughs.

The day was over Eda drove the girls home and kami was the last one to drive, because she lived near her beofre she went out of the car Eda asked her "is everything okay with your family?" she asked "I wanted to call you yesterday but I don't have your number yet" "yes actually I wanna thank you" "for what?" "You gave me courage to come out and made me feel safe" she smiled at Kami's words and hugged her "ill always be here for you" "I also told my friends and everyone knew I was gay imagine" Eda laughed "well it made things easy didn't it" "sure did".. "give me your phone she added" she wrote her number and called her phone to get Eda's number as well "here you go feel free to call me anytime" Eda took her phone back and said "for sure". Kami got out of the car waved at the girl and got inside the house..

Adam was waiting for her to ask "is she your girlfriend" "what!" She said laughing her mom showed up behind him " you little curious boy" " we are besties she helped me alot lately" her mom smiled at her and said "that's good real ones are rare I'm glad you found some for yourself dear..".
The family had dinner and called it a night. Kami was in her room when she felt the floor moving and her heart raising up she tried to get up to drink water and ended up falling on the ground, the glass of water broke on the floor causing Shadow to scream too and her parents came running to her room yelling if she is okay.. to find their daughter passed out on the floor. Kami's heart condition was getting worst with time and there is nothing they can do for now.. the doctor tried to find her the right medicine each time they find right one it last for couple of weeks only.. Kami spent the night at the hospital again.

The next morning kami woke up and wondering where is she to see a familiar place and thought to her self "fuck here we go again" she got up to find her mom with her telling her to rest,Kami hated being sick and hated being at a hospital bed, she felt vulnerable and asked her mom to take her home right away because she can't stand it here. "Your friend called btw" her mom said "who!?" "It was Eda" "did you pick up did you tell her I'm sick?" "No I did not pick", she hated to tell others about her health or them finding out so she kept everything to herself. Kami was fine after a night at the hospital and again with new kind of medical treatment.

She didn't go to school that day and took a day off writing songs and playing guitar, keeping her self busy of thinking about how being sick sucks.
