Chapter sixteen

Aiden stood there silently mad as all hell I could tell this was not going to go over well. "Aiden please, we were only having dinner together!" She cried to him. He shifted his weight on his left leg away from Derek's car. "I told you both to stay the fuck away from each other!" He yelled through clenched teeth. His eyes moved between Derek and me like lightening. "We were only having dinner together. It isn't the end of the world Aiden please don't hurt us!" I could feel my heart betraying me once more. I started feeling sick to my stomach with worry. What is Aiden going to do to us? He can't hurt us! Aiden's face seemed to fall slightly before saying, "Hurt you? Why would you think I would hurt you? I love you Selenva! All I want to do is be with you! What did this prick say to make you think I would hurt you?"

Derek! She thought not remembering that he was standing beside her. Derek seems so comfortable like this doesn't faze him at all! Why is he so calm about this? His face perked up in to a small smile which she knew would send Aiden through the roof. "We can do as we please Aiden. Selenva and I were just getting more acquainted with one another. I did not tell her anything that she didn't have the right to already know. You should have told her about what you did to Margo!" Derek yelled finally loosing his composure. 

I couldn't help but think that if Aiden could have it his way right now Derek would be dead too. How do I fix this? Is there a way to fix this? I have to leave get away from here, If I am the reason they are fighting now. I can't have them both that I know that! Why do I still want them both? I love them, I hate them, I just can't get around them! "Look both of you have got to stop this! I will not be in the middle of this! I am leaving!" She yelled then took a second to breathe before continuing, "Aiden I understand that you care for me, I really do but with everything he has told me about you tonight...makes me not want to be around you even more right now. I do not know what to think about you any more..."

I turned to look at Derek ready to say good bye to him as well. He moved closer to me putting his hand on my cheek. "Selenva please let me take you back to Dallas's house. It is a long walk from here. I would not want anything to happen to you." He said sounding so smooth it sent chills through my body once more. I turned to look over at Aiden who was already walking towards us. Oh fuck! He is going to hit Derek!  "Aiden no!" I was to late Aiden had cocked his arm back then swung. Derek pushed me aside moving out of the way of the blow. Aiden followed through tumbling a little over towards the front door of the restaurant. "I told you not to touch her! I won't miss next time!" Aiden snapped.

She saw him turning to look at her with eyes black as the night. "Come on Selenva I will walk you to Dallas's house!" He moved closer to me, making it to were I backed away. "Selenva I won't hurt you." He let out in a whisper reaching for me.  "He is lying to you Selenva! Don't go with him! He is a murderer!" Derek hollered behind him. "I am not a murderer! I did not kill Margo you fucking liar! Selenva don't believe him! I will take care of you better than I did her." Something in his voice didn't sound right to me. She thought, starting to shake backing away from Aiden little by little. 

"Aiden I promise to call you the moment I get to Dallas's house, I have never lied to you before and I won't now. I will call the second I get there and talk to you then! You have to let me go now or I will not talk to you ever again! I yelled hoping he would give in to my attempt at leaving. I watched as he spread his arms apart. He wants me to hug him! Shit! It will be okay... you just hug him and walk to the car! She thought trying to convince her legs to move. They did one by one till she could feel his arms encircling her. Aiden feels like I do right this second cold, shakes, and very nervous. It is written on his body too.

My heart seemed to fill with pity for him clouding the hate that had been building. I wrapped my arms tightly around him squeezing his waist. Taking a deep breathe to steady myself before I spoke to him again. "Aiden I am going to leave now. I will call you when I get there." I backed away from him looking up at his face, jaw line tight and eyes squeezed shut. He looks like hell tonight.  "Hey Derek will you please take me to Dallas’ s house now?" The mustang beeped while the lights flashed, slowly she moved over to the car where Derek was already holding the door open.
