Agreement.

Thaliah

"Mom!"

I called mom the momment I saw her, she's crying so hard. Her blond hair is so messy, her mascara is all over her face.

"Thaliah!"

She then pulled me as hugged me so tight, I can't help but cry too.

"W-what happened to dad? why are we in the hospital?"

I said then make iyak iyak while yakaping mommy.

"H-he h-he was so worried anak, b-baka anong ng nangyari sayo, h-he had a heart attack."

That made me cry more as I tightened our hug.

"Sorry mom, I'm so sorry."

That's all I could say, I just want to think lang naman, I was worried about the fixed marriage, I didn't think what my parents would feel running away like that instead of talking to them about the problem.

"Mrs. Ross?"

The doctor suddenly called our attention, we immidiately faced Doctor Chase.

"How's my husband?"

Mom said were so alala about dad's kalagayan, I feel so nanghihina, my nerves are nginig nginig while hoping dad is ayos lang.

"He's stable now, iwasan nalang muna natin siyang mastress at mag alala, just let him rest, for now I want to discuss to you some things in my clinic."

He uttered seriously, we tango to that as we followed him to his clinic.

"What po ba happening sa dad ko? He seems okay when huling I saw him."

I said still in verge of tears, Doc Chase just sighed.

"Looks like he's been keeping this from you two, according to my friend Mr. Ross has been consulting him secretly about this."

He said then did something on the monitor, there we saw some x-rays of his heart.

"Mr. Ross have been suffering from a  severe chest pain caused by narrowing of several of the arteries that supply your heart muscle, leaving the muscle short of blood during even light exercise or at rest."

He started, my brows furrowed.

"He have more than one diseased coronary artery, and the heart's main pumping chamber — the left ventricle, isn't functioning well. I suggest a Coronary bypass surgery imidiately since according to his former doctor, he's not responding to other treatments anymore."

I was so nanghihina, I feel like my energy escaped from my body.

"D-do everything, wala kaming pakielam kung gaano kamahal, just save my husband please."

My mom is crying so hard, I can't do anything but just hug her.

"Your risk of developing complications is generally low, but it depends on your health before surgery. I  will give you specific instructions about activity restrictions and changes in your husband's diet or medications he should make before surgery."

I make tango tango to that while listening carefully.

"Don't worry, After surgery, most people feel better and might remain symptom-free for as long as 10 to 15 years. Over time, however, it's possible that other arteries or even the new graft used in the bypass will become clogged, requiring another bypass or angioplasty.

Your results and long-term outcome will depend in part on taking your medications to prevent blood clots, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol and help control diabetes as directed, and following healthy lifestyle recommendations."
