Chapter 35: Luke's P.O.V

Florence ran up the stairs when she told Michael that she's keeping the baby. Michaels eyes started brimming with tears. He clenched his fists and closed his eyes tightly. 'Is she trying to ruin my reputation!' He shouted after a long silence. 'Don't say that Michael,' I said calmly even though what Michael just said was nasty and hurtful. 'No Luke! My parents are mad at me already for getting her pregnant and now she's going to keep it! It will be in all the magazines, all over the music channels it will ruin our band!' He shouted at me. 'Michael! You got yourself into this and now your going to deal with it. You are going to be there for Florence, you are going to help her through the pregnancy and you will be the father of that child. Do you want to see the birth of your son or daughter or live alone like a coward?' I grabbed tightly onto his shoulders and shook him. 'Come on Michael, please make this work,' Ashton sighed, I forgot he was in the room with us. Michael looked to the floor and bit his lip. 'I can't do this Luke, it's too much,' Michaels voice cracked and once again he walked to the front door and left Florence, but this time I think he's never coming back.

I sat on the sofa and put my head into my hands. I hate it when I argue with my band mates, especially if he's dating my best friend. My shoulders started shaking and I cried. I cried for Florence, for Michael and for the band. I mean band practise is going to be so awkward now. Ashton came over and wrapped his arm over my shoulder. 'Luke you have no reason to be crying. None of this has anything to do with you,' Ashton hushed into my ear. 'But the band Ash! It's going to be awkward and it won't be fun and silly no more,' I cried harder into my hands. 'Luke pull yourself together!' Ashton pulled my hands off my face. 'The band will be okay, Florence needs all the help she can get now Michael is being a dick.' Ashton gave me a nice man hug. Then a gaggle of three giggling girls and a sighing Calum bursted through the door.

'Having a bit of bromance there babe?' Ruth giggled and sat on Ashton'a lap. 'I can't believe that was a possible name for the band,' Calum slapped his forehead. 'Aww is Cal feeling embarrassed in front of his girlfriend,' Tabby teased. I looked at Chloe and she gave me the look of we-need-to-talk. I followed her into the kitchen and shut the door. 'Lukey what's up?' Chloe sighed rubbing my forearm. 'Michael being a jerk,' I scoffed and looked to the floor. Chloe lifted my chin up so I could see into her gorgeous brown eyes. 'What did he do?' She asked attempting a smile. My arm snaked around her waist and I explained. 'Florence told Mikey she's keeping and ran upstairs crying, we had an argument and now he's walked out on her forever.'
'What!' Chloe shouted. 'Are you fucking with me?' She put her hands over her mouth on shock. 'He's gone Chlo. He said that it's to much for him,' I sighed and cupped her face trying to calm her. 'I'm gonna see of she's awake,' Chloe stormed off to Florence's room.

I walked into the living room and Calum was watching Mean Girls with his girlfriend. I sat with them and watched it. After all it is funny and it might take my mind off of things. 'Where's Ruth and Ash?' I asked.
'They took their make out session upstairs,' Tabby said while still concentrating on the screen. Tabby knew all the quotes and wouldn't stop saying them. 'Can't you just watch it,' I spat at her whichever Calum feel protective and hold her close. 'Jesus Luke calm down let the lady do what she wants!' Calum tutted at me. I scoffed and walked upstairs to use the bathroom.

I heard sounds I never wanted to hear ever coming from Ruth's guest room and Chloe reasoning with Florence in her room. I did my business and decided to burst in on their girl talk. 'Can I join in?' I asked awkwardly from Florence's bedroom door. The girls giggled and Florence replied 'Sure Lucas.' I sat down on her bed and gave her a kiss on her temple. 'Florence I'm sure he'll be back soon,' I said trying to make her smile. 'I don't think so Luke, I mean I heard the shouting and the door slamming. He's angry and he never wants to see me again.' Florence said and fell onto her bed. 'He's probably just scared,' Chloe said. 'Chloe's right, he'll be back soon he just needs to get it in his head that he's going to be a dad and that he needs to support you through this,' I said and I looked at Florence, she was smiling. 'Okay if you say so,' she sighed and gave me and Chloe a hug. I was just hoping Michael will do as I just said. I hope that he supports her and that he will be there for the baby. Michael does have plenty of time, I mean Florence has only been pregnant for about two weeks.

Florence decided to sleep it off so me and Chloe decided to have time together. We went in and sat on her bed in the guest room. I guess we kinda just talked about Florence's baby and each other. We started taking weird couple selfies and posting them on Instagram and twitter. Even though we were pulling funny faces she still looked absolutely beautiful. I kissed her out of the blue and cupped her face in my hands. 'I love you,' I whispered and rubbed my nose on hers. 'I love you too Lukey,' she giggled. That was the last thing she said before we decided to go to sleep ourselves.

I laid in bed wide awake with Chloe in my arms in a deep sleep. She looked so cute. I played with her long silky hair trying to make myself go to sleep. However thoughts of babies were rushing through my mind. What if me and Chloe have kids. Would they be accidents or planned? I don't think Chloe plans on having kids anytime soon. Our relationship has just started and I don't want it to end anytime soon. I love Chloe more than anything, I can't walk out her life and I don't want Chloe to walk out of mine. Like what Michael did to poor Florence. I can't believe he did that to her. I just hope she'll be okay for the next nine months. Soon I was drifting into a dreamless sleep...
