Chapter 21

Mattia pov:
When she kissed me I was surprised cause I thought she liked kevin. I pull away slowly.
"Y/n please do the chemo I'll be with you I promise" I say holding her hands

She looks away and sighs.
"Fine" she finally gives in
I smile and I hug her we call the doctor and he started to prepare her for treatment. I had to leave the room so I waited in the seating area. I kept smiling until I saw Kevin.

Ugh what is he doing here. I walk up to him.
"What are you doing here?" I ask with attitude
"I'm here to see my friend" he says
"Well you can't so leave" I snap
"Im not leaving until I see her" he says getting on my nerves
"Not gonna happen." I say
"Why not, do you think if I spend time with her she's gonna fall for me? NEWS FLASH MATTIA she's head over heals for you" he says in a sad voice
"Wait what?" I ask
"She likes you she always has, and even if I love her the decision she has over you won't change" he says

I don't know why but those words coming out of his mouth made me the happiest man alive.

"So can i see her please?" He asks again
"Uh she's being prepared to be taken in for treatment" I say snapping out of my thoughts
"Oh you found out." He says
"Yea just in time thankfully" I says

There was awkward tension between us. But thankfully the doctor walked in.

"Mr. polibio she's ready" the doctor says
"Ok thank you" I say walking out of the waiting room.

He takes me to an elevator and we go to a room where I see y/n in bed with many medical things around her. She's sitting on the couch and I sit beside her. The doctor asks if she's ready she nods and looks at me. He grabs a needle and puts it in her left arm. She just looks at it and he connects the needle with a bag of liquid.

"Ok i will be back to take it out" he says walking out of the room.
We both nod
"Um Kevin is outside" I say
"Oh I'm sorry is it a problem, if it is I can ask him to leave" she says panicking
"No no it's fine relax I just wanted to tell you." I say calming her down
"Mattia, since we are gonna be here for a while can I ask you questions since I don't know much about you?" She asks
"Great idea" I say
"Favorite color?" She says
"Purple, you?" I ask
"Mm black, because it matches with everything and it's a universal color" she says excited
"Favorite food?" I ask
"Ohh italian" she says smiling
"Well it's good that you have an italian husband" I say

We keep asking questions back and fourth and we crack jokes every now and then. Soon enough the doctor walks in and checks up on her. Then he takes all the medical things from her and he tells her that she can leave. She was a little weak so I help her up. I grabbed her things and we went to the car.
(Ok so I don't know how this chemo stuff works so please don't attack me)

Y/n pov:
Mattia stayed the entire time and he was actually a very funny person. I got to know him a little better. We got home and I walk in and I see kairi run up to me.

"Hey are you ok?" He asks
"Yes I am, just a little weak after the first chemo" I say
"Chemo? You finally decided to do the treatment?" He asks excited I nod and he hugs me tightly
"Ouch kairi" I say softly
"Shit sorry I just got excited" he says.

Mattia walks in with my stuff and walks up to my room, I sit in the kitchen and I talk to kairi, while he was making me something to eat.

"Where's alejandro?" I ask kairi
"He's out taking care of something" kairi tells me
"Oh ok" i say as the door bell rings

"I got it" I say getting up slowly
I walk to the door and I my blood starts to boil.

"I thought I told you not to come back bitch" I say looking at jenna right outside my door.
