I awoke to my alarm clock beeping. I groaned and sat up hitting the button on the clock. All I wanted to do was fall back asleep, but I realized I had to get ready. I slowly drug myself out of bed and into the shower hoping it'd wake me up. Once I was out I felt a little better but was starving. I grabbed all my luggage and went downstairs to get breakfast. Afterwards I realized I should head down to the docks. As I left I looked back at the Salty Springs sign.
As I approached the docks I saw the familiar boat pull up with a henchman. I put my stuff in the boat.
"Good morning," Tommy said, "Ready for your first day?"
"You bet," I replied.
He started to drive off. As we got closer to the Agency I noticed a lot more Henchman out then usual.
"What's with all the henchman?"
"There's talk of an attack happening today, so Midas ordered us henchman to be on guard today."
"I guess you'll have a busy day huh?"
"Well if no action happens then it will be slow and boring."
We finally reached the Agency and Tommy helped me carry my luggage to my room. I grabbed the keycard and unlocked my door.
"Thanks for the help," I told Tommy.
"Hey no problem, I'll see ya around. Have a great first day."
I started to unpack, placing my pants, socks and underwear in the dresser and my shirts, dresses and shoes in the closet. As I was unpacking my other things in the bathroom I heard a knock at the door. I opened it and saw Skye and Tina standing there.
"Good morning," Skye said smiling.
"We wanted to make sure you were doing okay and wanted to know if you needed help with anything," Tina said.
"Thanks guys, but I think I'm good. I'm pretty much almost done unpacking."
"Then would you like to come to the break room with me and Tina for some coffee and donuts?" Skye asked.
"Yes that sounds great! Let me finish putting these last few things away then we can leave." I said as I rushed back to the bathroom.
I came back out and walked over to the door, "Let's go," I said.
Once we got in the break room Brutus was stuffing his face with donuts. He turned and looked at us with a blank expression.
"Uhh- were you guys gonna have some?"
The three of us all laughed.
"Yes we actually were. Is there any left?" Tina questioned.
"Oh plenty."
We walked over and grabbed ourselves some donuts and coffee. We all took a seat at the table and started chatting.
"So what do you think?" Asked Skye.
"Well I think it's very nice here. You all seem so nice and welcoming."
"We are glad to hear that Y/N," replies Tina.
"Okay let's get down into the juicy stuff," Skye said slyly, "What do you think about Midas?"
Tina slapped Skye's arm.
"Ouch!"
"I'm sorry about that," Tina said chuckling, "Whenever we get a new girl here, they always end up crushing on Midas."
I laughed and continued eating my donut.
"Well I think Midas is a very nice guy and I appreciate him helping me get settled here," I responded.
