As I turned the earpiece over Shadow's symbol was on the other side. I quickly walked over to Midas and showed him the earpiece. I decided not to get anyone else involved because I didn't want them to all panic.
"Meet me in my office in 10. I'll leave now and say that I'm heading to bed. You will then leave and say the same thing. Understood?" Midas whispered to me.
I shook my head and walked over to Skye to create some small talk.
"Well everyone it's been a fantastic evening but I think I am going to head out now. Thank you agents for all your help this evening. Without you guys this party wouldn't have been nearly as amazing. Good night everyone," Midas said smiling as he left.
Skye and I started helping the henchmen clean up. After we finished grabbing the last of the dishes I decided to head out as well. I said good night to everyone and left. As I walked into Midas' office I saw him looking out the window.
"Darling come over here and look at the stars with me."
"But Midas the earpiece, don't you wanna-"
"Shh my dear. That can wait until morning. For now I want to spend the rest of the night with you," Midas turned and extended his hand out for me to grab.
I placed my hand in his and he gently pulled me towards him. Once I was standing next to him he wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed the top of my head. As I gazed up at the stars I noticed Midas looking at me from the corner of my eye. I turned my head to see him smirking at me.
"What?" I smiled.
"Oh nothing dear. I'm just taking in your beauty. I got so lucky with you Y/N. Promise me you'll never leave me," Midas said.
"Oh Midas I would never," I said as I placed a soft kiss on his cheek.
Midas then quickly picked me up bridle style.
"Let's go some place a little bit more comfortable," Midas said with a wink.
I smiled at him as he carried me out and into his bedroom.

I awoke to the sound of birds chirping. I looked over to see Midas shirtless. I then looked down at myself to notice I had no bra on. I quickly got up and put a shirt on.
"Good morning darling."
"Oh good morning. I'm sorry did I wake you?"
"No no you didn't. Last night got a bit rough," he said.
My cheeks went red, as Midas started chuckling. I quickly walked into the bathroom to shower. I got myself all ready and walked out. Midas was ready as well.
"Meeting at 1 today to discuss the earpiece," he said.
He kissed me and left the room.

1 o'clock rolled around and everyone was in the meeting.
"Thank you everyone for meeting me here with such short notice. Last night as we were cleaning up Y/N found an earpiece that belongs to a Shadow spy agent. Does anyone recall seeing anyone that looked suspicious?" Midas asked.
"Well when I was going around greeting guests, this one lady looked strange. She wasn't talking to anyone. She was just walking around and looking at things. She also kept talking to herself which was odd," Maya said.
"Oh I saw her too. She looked like some gargoyle thing. She was weird," Tina chimed in.
"Oh god," Midas said.
"What's wrong?" Mewoscles asked.
"That's Darkheart. She's not well known but I've had to deal with her a few times. She's one of Shadow's best spy agents. She goes around and flirts with people just to get stuff out of them. She's done it to me before I knew who she really was."
We all went silent. Midas rubbed the sides of his temples.
"Agent Peely, I need you to try and figure out a way to hack into Shadow's earpieces to try and overhear what Darkheart is saying. I doubt she got any information from just the party because henchmen were guarding all the doors entering the Agency, but you never know. I need that done asap."
Agent Peely nodded.
"As for the rest of you, carry on with your day like normal. If you see or find anything out of the ordinary please let me know right away. Dismissed!"
As everyone left I stayed behind with Midas. We both walked out of the meeting room and into his office.
"Midas there has to be something one of us can do."
"Y/N right now there is nothing to do. We just have to wait until Peely can hack into the system or we find another clue."
I sat there for a few moments thinking of ways to try and help out. Just then an idea came to me.
"Midas what if I went of and captured Darkheart and brought here back to the shark for an interrogation?"
Midas looked up at me like I had three heads.
"That's not a good idea. Plus we don't even know where she is."
"Well aren't the earpieces all hooked up to the same system. Oh and don't they all usually have trackers on them?" I questioned.
Midas' face went blank.
"My dear you're a genius. All earpieces tend to always have a tracker in them." Midas grabbed the earpiece from his pocket and took to apart. He found a tiny red flashing light, "There's the tracker! Y/N you're amazing!"
Midas picked me up into a hug and swung me around then gave me a big kiss on the lips.
I looked up at him, "Midas let me go get her. I can do it. I've been training for moments like this. If it all goes to shit then I'll call in for back up or I'll get the hell out of there. I just need to prove myself to everyone here. Show them I'm a true agent just like them."
"Oh but my dear you've proved yourself plenty of times here. Plus I don't want you getting hurt. It can be very dangerous Y/N and I can't risk losing you."
"Midas please. I can handle myself. You need to trust me on this," I grabbed Midas' arm and looked up at him.
He sighed, "You will leave tomorrow morning."
