I awoke the next morning feeling refreshed and ready to start the day. I got ready for training and went down to training room. Surprisingly I didn't see anyone working. I only saw a few henchmen walking around. For my training today it was mainly weight lifting and cardio. I did all that for about two hours when Skye and Maya walked in. Skye waved and Maya just glanced at me. Maya walked over to the training weapons and Skye rushed over to me.
"Sooooo what happened last night," she said smirking.
"Oh well umm we had a nice dinner. We talked a lot and then he brought me back to my room and we said good night, and ummmm that's about it," I said.
She frowned and said, "He didn't even kiss you? What the heck?"
"Well umm- he kissed my cheek..."
Skye's frown turned into a smile as she grabbed my shoulders and started shaking them.
"Yes yes yes! I was right! He has feelings for you!"
"Skye shhhh. This has to stay between us. I doubt he wants anyone knowing. Understand?"
Skye nodded and said, "Well I'll leave you be. I'll catch up with you later," she said smiling.
I left the training room feeling gross and dirty. All I wanted right now was a shower. I walked into my room and started up the shower. I hopped in and started scrubbing away at the sweat. Once I was out I dried off and wrapped the towel around me. I opened the bathroom door to see Midas standing right there.
"Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't realize you- uhh- were showering. I'll be back," he said walking out of the room.
I quickly got dressed and opened the door to see Midas standing there.
"What's up?" I asked.
He walked into my room and I closed my door behind him. He sat on my bed.
"I wanted to tell you that you may no longer train every day. I only have trainees do that for about a month. Then they may chose when to train."
"Oh. Well that's nice. Getting sweaty every day isn't the best."
He chuckled, "Sorry for barging in here. I felt like
I should come to you since you're always coming to me for information."
"Well that was nice of you."
He grabbed my shoulder and squeezed it before leaving. Once he left I saw a note on my desk. I picked it up.
"At sunset meet me on the balcony in my office"-M
I smiled and placed the card back down.

I changed out of my comfy clothes and into something a bit nicer. I wore a romper, but instead of it having shorts it had pants and the top was a halter. I looked outside and saw the sun setting. I went out of my room and walked to Midas' office. I opened the door to see him not in there, but to see another door opened. I walked out that door and saw Midas standing out on a balcony watching the sunset.
"Hello," I said.
He turned and smiled, "Hello darling. You look beautiful."
I walked up to the railing and rested my arms on it. Midas did the same. We were both admiring the gorgeous sunset, when Midas turned to me.
"Y/N," he said.
I turned to see him giving me a soft smile. He grabbed both my hands and said, "Since the day you got here, I saw something in you. Something I have never ever seen in any other girl before. I felt a connection...a spark. That's why I brought you here tonight. I wanted to confess myself to you Y/N. I have feelings for you. To be honest I've had these feelings since the day I laid my eyes on you. You're this gorgeous girl who's sweet, funny, determined and so much more. I felt like it was unfair to you to keep holding these feelings back and not tell you."
I was shocked. Was this a dream? I needed to be pinched. I could feel myself blushing.
"Oh Midas, that was the sweetest thing. I have to be honest too, I have feelings as well. I just...I wanted to tell you, but I didn't have the courage to. "
"Well I'm glad we are on the same page here," he said looking at me.
We both looked at each other for another second or two before he cupped my cheek and leaned in for a kiss. I leaned in as well and slid my arms up so that they were around his neck. We both pulled away, but knew we both weren't done. We went back in for another amazing kiss. Once we pulled away we knew it was getting late.
"I will walk you back to your room dear."
Once we reached my room he pulled me into a hug.
"Thank you for tonight," I whispered.
He smiled and let go of the hug. He kissed my forehead and walked away. I shut my door and couldn't wipe the smile off my face.
