Y/N's POV
I looked up at the clock hanging above the door. I groaned as it read 9:20 pm.
"Come on Midas. You've got to have seen my tracker," I mumbled to myself.
I closed my eyes hoping this was all just a bad dream. I awoke to hear yelling and banging from outside the room. I heard the familiar voice of Tina yelling as she warned everyone about the incoming explosion. My heart started to race. They found me! I started to fidget in my chair, trying to release the tight ropes around my body. Nothing would move. I started to panic.
"What if they can't find me? What if Wildcard kills the agents? Think Y/N. THINK!"
I then realized Wildcard never covered my mouth. God I was stupid for not seeing that sooner.
"TINA, MEWOSCLES!!! IM IN HERE! SOMEONE HELP! MIDAS IM IN THE ROOM. PLEASE! SOMEONE!" I screamed.
I heard mumbling from outside the door. It sounded like Midas and Brutus.
"YES! HELLO! IM IN HERE! ITS ME Y/N!"
The mumbling stopped before gun firing started.
"In coming!!!" Someone yelled.
I turned my head away as a giant explosion busted down the door. Light broke into the room as I saw a familiar person walking towards me. I looked up to see Midas rushing towards me.
"Darling! You're here, I was so worried!" Midas said as he cupped my cheek.
"I was worried you wouldn't be able to find me in here," I chuckled.
Midas smiled as I saw Tina and Skye rush towards me.
"Y/N!" They both said as they hugged me.
"Hey girls," I said.
I looked behind them to see more Shadow henchmen rushing towards us.
"Uhh I'd love to continue and chat with you guys, but I think there's more important things to take care of," I said nervously.
Midas turned and ushered Tina to go with him to take down all the henchmen.
"Hey Skye, a little help?" I said smiling.
Skye nodded and took out her blue sword and cut me free. I rubbed my wrists and motioned for her to follow me. We both ran out of the room and into the open Grotto. It was a mess. There was fire and debris everywhere. I cringed at the place. I turned at the sound of Skye screaming. I saw Wildcard holding her with her arms around her back.
"Let her go!" I snapped
"Where's Midas?" He barked.
I ran towards him and punched him in the face. He let go of Skye.
"Run Skye run!" I exclaimed.
Wildcard's fist met my face as I turned back towards him. We broke out into a full fight, swinging punches and jumping all around. He finally kicked my legs out from under me and pinned me to the ground. I tried to get up but he was overpowering me. I glanced up to see Midas holding his drum gun. He had it aimed towards Wildcard's head.
"Let her go," he sneered.
Wildcard chuckled, "It's either her life or yours. Turn yourself in and give me the Agency or see her life come to an end."
Midas showed a concern look on his face. His eyes looked down to me then back up to Wildcard.
"Don't do it Midas! Don't give it up!" I yelled.
He lowered his gun. His head hung low.
"I'm sorry Y/N, but if it means you're safe. Then that's all that matters."
He started to place his gun on the ground when a familiar high pitched voice erupted from the Grotto. I glanced up to see Skye riding Ollie towards us. Ollie plowed into Wildcard, sending him flying. I quickly stood up. Midas lifted his gun and started to fire at Wildcard.
"Y/N run!" Midas yelled.
"No I'm not leaving you!" I said.
I reached down on the ground and picked up a burst assault rifle.
"We got company!" Skye said as she ran towards us.
More henchmen appeared from the depths of the Grotto. Tina, Mewoscles, Brutus and Maya all appeared by our sides.
"What's the plan boss?" Brutus questioned.
"Fire at everyone. I'm going to go find Wildcard." Midas responded.
"Not without me you're not," I said.
Midas sighed and motioned for me to follow him. The rest of the agents started firing at the henchmen. Midas and I secretly walked into the rooms of the Grotto. We walked past a big vault, then up a flight of stairs. I quickly fired at a henchmen guarding a set of doors. They led into a long hallway, which led to another set of doors. We opened them to see Wildcard packing a bag. He looked up and started to fire his gun at us. We dodged the bullets. While Midas had him distracted I quickly took him out. I grabbed a pair of handcuffs sitting on the desk in front of him and cuffed him.
"Let me go!" He demanded.
"Hah funny joke," I chuckled.
We took him out of the Grotto and back to the boat and chopper. Maya placed him onto the boat and tied him to the seat.
"Take him to the Shark and lock him away," Midas ordered. Brutus nodded. Him and Maya boarded the boat.
"You don't know what you're dealing with. I will return. I know some people Midas. Powerful people who wont hesitate to kill. You will see me again. This isn't the end of Shadow," Wildcard said.
They drove off to the Shark, while the rest of us boarded the chopper. I started to doze on an off on the way back to the Agency. Once we got there Midas dismissed everyone to their rooms. It was late, very late. I started to walk back to my room, but I felt someone grab my shoulder.
"Where do you think you're going doll? You're with me tonight," Midas whispered in my ear.
I turned and followed him back to his room. I went straight to the bathroom. I was so tired I struggled to undress myself. I was only in my bra and panties when Midas walked in.
"You seem tired so I thought I'd help you shower," he romantically said.
I smiled and finished getting undress. I got in the shower followed my Midas. He helped scrub my head and wash my body. He carefully scrubbed away all the dried blood on my face. He saw I had an open wound under my left eye. He carefully helped me dry off after he cleaned himself up. He helped me dress myself. I put on a sports bra and some spandex shorts. He sat me by his desk and took out a Med Kit. He started to stitch my face up. I winced but then relaxed. Once he was done he carried me over to the bed and tucked me in. He got in on the opposite side and scooted closer to me. He snuggled up next to me and placed a gentle kiss on my lips.
"Good night darling. Sleep good, you deserve it."
