"What? I-how?!" Skye blurted out.
"I guess you could say I'm a natural," I said winking.
Skye challenged me to see who could hold a plank the longest. She held hers for close to two minutes. I shocked myself and held my plank for roughly six minutes.
"I've been working really hard to get myself in tip top shape. I don't wanna be chasing a Shadow Agent and have to stop halfway to catch my breath," I said laughing.
Skye giggled, "Fair point there Y/N. Alright I'm gonna head up and grab something to eat, I'm starving."
Skye left the training room. I stayed behind cleaning up the equipment I was using before Skye came down. I heard the door handle turn. I turned around to see Midas standing in the doorway smiling. He quietly shut the door behind him and walked towards me smirking.
"Everyone is upstairs doing their own thing right now darling. No one will come down and interrupt us," he said grabbing my waist and pulling me into a deep kiss.
We started slow then began to increase our speed. He picked me up and walked me over to a wall. He pinned me against it, still holding onto me. He slipped tongue into my mouth while grabbing my thighs. I moved my hands, which were wrapped around his neck, to his cheeks, creating a more passionate kiss. After close to 30 minutes of us making out we pulled away, gasping for air. Midas looked at me and smiled.
"You are a very good kisser you know," he said.
"You as well," I responded.
"Let's go grab something for dinner, you must be starving," Midas said while taking my hand.
He led me out of the training room and into the break room. To our surprise everyone was in there munching away and watching TV. I walked over to the freezer and grabbed some chicken nuggets. I popped them in the oven and walked over to go see what was on the TV. As I approached the TV, static began to appear. I felt a hand press against my back only to see Midas with a serious face looking at the TV. A black outline of someone or something came on the screen
"Hello Ghost Agency," a low raspy voice said, "You have something of ours that we need back."
"That's someone from Shadow," Tina said.
Midas continued staring at the screen.
"If you don't return what we want...then we will take something very important from you. It's your choice. However I'm sure you will make the smart decision," the voice said.
And with that the TV went back to the normal channel it was on. I could see the worry in everyone's face. All eyes were on Midas. He looked at the ground then back up scanning everyone.
"What would they even take from us?" Maya said.
Skye replied, "Everything is locked away somewhere so secret none of us know...well except Midas and the guards who guard that place."
"Whatever happens, we will not give that file back. No matter what. I will hide it tonight when everyone is sleeping. For now, I expect everyone to be on guard. If I see anyone slacking they won't want to stay here. Do I make myself clear?" Midas said
Everyone silently nodded. We all sat there in silence for awhile until people started heading out to get ready for bed. Midas put the henchmen on shifts. He told them that there needs to be double of them out at night now. As I headed for my room Midas stopped me.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yes of course. I'm just concerned for you. I don't want anything to happen to you," I said as I grabbed his hand.
He kissed it and said, "There's nothing to worry about dear," he paused for a moment before saying, "Would you like to spend the night in my room?
I just want to make sure you're safe and protected."
I looked up at him and smiled.
"I'd love that, let me get undressed and showered. Meet me here in twenty minutes."

I heard a knock at my door and unlocked it to see Midas standing there.
"You ready darling?"
I nodded and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder. He led me through a door connected to his office. When he opened it I stepped into a big room. He had a king sized bed with a big mirror hanging on the wall. He had a shelf hanging on his wall covered by glass inside were helmets completely gold. A large carpet covered almost area where his bed was.
"Let me get undressed and ready for bed," Midas said walking into his bathroom.
I took a seat on his bed, it was very comfy. I brushed my hand on the silk sheets that lay on the bed. I laid down on the pillow. My head sunk into it and I relaxed my whole body. I heard the bathroom door open and saw Midas step out. He only wore a pair of black sweats. I could see his whole upper body now. The tattoos on his neck trailed down to his torso. He walked over to the the bed and laid down next to me. I stared at his stomach taking in what I saw. Not only did he have tattoos, but he had abs. They were defined to a point and I couldn't stop staring.
"You okay darling?"
I looked up to see Midas looking at me, "Oh uh yes I'm fine."
He chuckled and laid his head back down on his pillow. I laid down next to him and put my head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. He wrapped his arm around me.
"Good night beautiful," Midas whispered in my ear before kissing my head.
I smiled knowing I was safe in his arms.
