Midas led me to a room where the other agents were. Some were talking, others were playing games and some were doing their own thing.
"Everyone I would like you to meet Y/N. She's our newest agent. I expect everyone here to make her feel welcomed here and to help her out with anything she needs."
Midas turned to me.
"The one with the hat, that's Skye."
She smiled and waved.
"The girl with the red shirt, that's TnTina but she goes by Tina."
Tina smiled and waved.
"The large cat, that's Mewoscles. He can't speak so he has a voice box to help him communicate with us."
The large cat turned, "Hello," he said with a smile.
"Then over here you have Maya."
He pointed to a black haired girl wearing a tan shirt. She waved.
"Here you have Brutus."
Brutus was a large muscular man. He smiled at me.
"And finally here is Agent Peely. He is our hacker of the group and is very good at his job might I add."
Agent Peely turned and saluted me.
"Now let me show you to your room," Midas said.
He led me up a set of marble stairs and into a hallway. As we went down the hallway we stopped at the last door on the left. He took a keycard out of his pocket and scanned it on a scanner. A quiet beep went off and the door unlocked. We walked into a bedroom.
"This is your room Y/N. It has everything you need."
I looked around at the bedroom. It was very roomy. There was a queen sized been with a burgundy comforter and silk sheets. There was a dresser and two nightstands on either side of the bed. There was also a desk with a computer at it.
"On the desk you have your own computer to do work on. Also you will need to go home for tonight to pack your things and bring them here. You may store your clothes in the dresser. There's also a closet over there," he said pointed to a glass door, "You also have your very own bathroom."
He led my through a door into a very luxurious bathroom. There was a bathtub (a jacuzzi), a shower with tile flooring and glass doors, a toilet and a sink with cabinets underneath. After looking into the bathroom Midas called one of the henchman through his earpiece. He asked them to take me home for the night.
"I will have a henchman escort you home for the night dear. You will pack everything up and bring it here. Then I want you here again tomorrow morning. Understand?"
I looked up at him. I never realized how handsome he was until up close. I shook the thought from my head knowing he was my boss, nothing else.
"Yes sir."
"Wonderful. I'll see you tomorrow," he said smiling.
We both left the room to meet up with the henchman. Midas waved and I was off. I got onto the boat with the henchman.
"So you got the job?"
I looked up from my phone to see the henchman holding his helmet in his hand. My eyes went from the helmet to his face. It was Tommy!
"Tommy? What are you- wait you got the job?!" I asked.
"Yes I did!"
"That's great! Oh and to answer your question, I did get the job," I said smiling.
"That's awesome Y/N!"
"Yeah I'm very excited. I hope I don't let anyone down, especially Midas."
"From what I've heard from the other henchman, he's no one you want to mess with."
After hearing that I got a little nervous.
"Well looks like we're here," Tommy said. "I'll be here to grab you in the morning. They told me to have you at the Agency by 7:30, so make sure to set an alarm."
"Thank you Tommy," I said smiling, "See you tomorrow."
I walked into my house and decided to go up and shower.
"That was refreshing," I quietly said.
Afterwards I looked at the time. It read 8:34. I realized that I didn't have a lot of time to do everything considering I had to be up early. I decided to have a quick dinner tonight. I thought about my options and ended up making a grilled cheese. I cleaned up from my meal and started packing my clothes and essentials. I looked at all the suitcases lying on my floor. I smiled with satisfaction as I got ready for bed. Once I was done I got myself into bed. Thoughts were racing through my head as I drifted off to sleep. The last thing I remembered was thinking about Midas' smile.
