About a week had passed since the incident. Today was my day off and I didn't know what to do. I walked into the break room and sat on the couch watching the TV. Over the loud speaker I heard,
"Y/N Midas would like to see you in his office."
It sounded like Tommy. I miss him. I hope he's doing alright. I walked out of the break room and to Midas' office. I knocked on the door.
"Come in."
I walked in to see Midas looking at me smiling.
"Hello doll. How has your day been going?"
"Oh um it's going fine," I replied, "Uh am I in trouble or something?"
"Oh no no. I have to ask you something," he said grinning, "Over this past week I've been watching you, not in a weird way, but to see how you've been doing. You have been putting in so much work. I would like to treat you to dinner tonight."
It felt as if my body froze in its spot. Dinner? With Midas? Was this a date? Countless thoughts raced through my head.
"Dinner? Tonight? That sounds great!"
"Glad to hear that. I'll meet you in the dining hall around 7."
I smiled at him as he turned to continue his work. I walked out of his office starstruck. I saw Skye walking up the stairs.
"Hey Y/N! What did the boss man want?"
I debated telling her what he just asked me because I didn't want her to get off on the wrong foot, but I guess telling her that it was for my hard work wouldn't do any harm.
"Well Midas wants to have dinner with me to thank me for all my hard work recently," I said shrugging my shoulders.
Her mouth dropped and then she lit up with excitement.
"He likes you! I was right!"
"Shhhh shhh. Skye he can probably hear you!"
She stopped smiling for a second, then grabbed my arm and drug me to the break room.
"Y/N. He's never done this with anyone before. It's so obvious he likes you. Everything is now coming together. The way he looks at you, talk to you, smiles and now dinner?"
"Well I guess we will find out soon if he has feelings for me."
"Tell me all the details of what happens tonight."
"You got it," I said winking as I left the room to go get ready.

I haven't gone out on a date in forever, nor have I dressed up recently. I wrapped a towel around me as I got out of the shower. I stood and did my makeup after I got out. Then I went into my closet to pick out something to wear. I decided to go with the whole Ghost theme. I grabbed a white dress that had noodle straps and stopped just above the knees. It was skin tight showing off my curves. Then I grabbed a pair of my gold heels. I curled my hair and went to go look in the mirror. I'll have to admit, I do clean up nice. I slipped on my heels and left my room. I headed to the dining hall, but on the way I ran into Skye.
"Oh my god. Y/N, you look gorgeous. With you looking like that, he'll definitely fall for you even harder," she said smiling.
"Thank you Skye," I said.
I walked into the dining hall. My heels clicking on the floor. Midas was standing in front of a lit fire place. He turned around.
"Wow," he said under his breath, "I hope doesn't sound weird, but you look absolutely gorgeous."
I smiled, "Thank you. You clean up nice as well."
Midas was wearing a grey tux with a white undershirt and a navy blue tie.
"Let's eat, shall we?"
He gestured towards a candle lit table for two. I sat down and we talked for a bit before our food came out. Once we were done we continued to talk.
"Do you drink?" Midas asked.
"Yes of course I do. It's the only thing that helps me calm down," I jokingly said.
Midas chuckled at my comment and poured both of us a glass of wine. We continued talking and after a while I felt completely comfortable around him. Almost like I've known him all my life.
He looked down at his watch.
"Well darling it looks like it's getting late. I want you to get a good nights sleep because you have training tomorrow."
I looked at him, smiled and nodded. He walked me back to my room.
"Thank you for an amazing night Midas. I loved it."
"For you doll? Anything."
We stood in the doorway staring at each other. He smiled and leaned in. My heart started racing as he kissed my cheek.
"Sleep well," he said as he left.
I slowly shut my door and slid down it smiling. I couldn't deny it anymore. I had feelings for Midas. I got ready for bed and laid there rethinking the kiss he gave me over and over again. I shut my light off and went to sleep still thinking about that kiss.
