we woke up at about 9 and made our way downstairs to eat breakfast before a long day of playing well hopefully not if we win our first game. coach was already down there as well as the other girls. when we travel we only take 8 girls, coach and our like med person lilah.
after breakfast we all went upstairs and got ready. we didn't have a game till 4:30 and lobby call was 11:30 to go eat lunch and do some team bonding. yet again we had to match because that's how coach likes it so we wore our matching zip ups. we didn't specify a bottom so i just wore nike leggings and my birks. under my zip up i wore a white crop top so my outfit was cute yet casual when i took off my zip up.
for lunch the team decided on going to a chinese restaurant. after lunch we had a few hours to kill so coach took us to target to get snacks for the trip and anything else we needed.
~skip to when they're in target~
"alright meet back at the entrance in half an hour because before we go to the tournament i'd like you guys to rest up. make sure you stay with a buddy i don't want any of you guys on your own." coach said.
we all agreed with her and went out separate ways in groups of 2. of course carsyn and i were partners we are best friends.
target adventures are always fun. i honestly don't get how we never get kicked out because we do some crazy stuff in target. one time we did trust falls to random strangers and another time it was close to halloween so we marched around target with unicorn heads (A/N this is a true story of my team and i doing these things lol).
"car i dare you to go up to that person and pretend like you know them." i said.
she looked at me smirked and made her way over to this lady. i took a video and posted it on snapchat it was hilarious.
we got all of our snacks and stuff we needed and still had time to get starbucks which was a huge win lol. we got starbucks and made our way back to the hotel.
~skip to when they get to the hotel~
the girls and i were chilling in the hotel room we had about half an hour before we had to get going to the tournament. so we started getting ready. we played some music and started chatting.
"so you guys nervous?" brit asked.
"no not really we've done this a bunch of times already." i replied.
"i'm kind of nervous." carsyn said.
"same what about you?" braylynn asked.
"same as you guys i don't know i always get nerves before games but then it goes away once we start playing" brit replied.
"that's true tho!" carsyn said.
"i wish they were here to play with us." braylyn said.
"they're watching, i know they are and they're proud of how far we've come." i said.
"i know but it just hasn't been the same this season. like yeah we're playing good and stuff but like practices aren't as lively and i don't know it's just hard." she said.
"hey we know, it's hard to be out there without them but we have to stay strong for them." brittney said rubbing her back.
"yeah and we have to make them proud this season no matter what." carsyn smiled.
we did a group hug and continued what we were doing.
we all had matching nike elite backpacks with our schools mascot on the front and our name and jersey number on the side. i put my braces, shoes, snacks, hydro flask, hair ties, small rubber bands, head bands, hair brush, gum, and extra clothes just in case.
"which jerseys are we wearing?" i asked.
"uhmmm hold up lemme check the group chat." brittney said checking her phone.
"the white ones." she said.
"ughhhh i hate the white ones." i said while putting on the jersey.
"same cuz you always hAve to wear white bras with it unless you want people seeing your bra" braylynn complained while taking it out of her suitcase.
we had all put on our uniforms and our warm ups on top and made our way downstairs just in time. during the car ride to the school we played hype music. then i felt my phone buzz it was a text from daniel.

once we got to the school we made our way to the locker room right away getting ready. i had put on my braces and did my hair the usual way. my phone dinged and i checked it's real quick it was a video from daniel. i opened it.
"hey kiannnaaaaa we're all here right now waiting for you game to start! we love you good luck! everybody say hi!" daniel said while showing himself and his surroundings.
they were at the wdw boys house. this is so cute.
"HI KIANNA!" everyone said.
"anyways we love you and we know you'll do good out there bye!" daniel said ending the video
i smiled and quickly replied 'thank you love you guys!' and put my phone down.
coach did her little talk telling us who to watch out for and stuff. then we went out and started warming up. we lost coin toss so we didn't get serve but i didn't mind.
~skip to after the game~
we won! so we didn't have to play again today. however it was an intense game we just kept going back and forth good thing it was only best of 3 or else it would've taken forever. once we got back to the hotel we took turn taking showers. lilah came into our room first for treatment. which we do after each away game during tournaments.
everyone had their own thing going on whether it was muscle stim, the rollers, icing, muscle ultrasound. we all kind of just went in a rotation doing each. then she stretched us out. the whole time i was on facetime with daniel. he just kept laughing when i was in the ice bath and when i was doing the rollers.
"you think this is funny huh?" i said to him.
"yes but it's okay cuz you're cute." he said.
"oh shut up seavey when i get back you're going to do an ice bath" i said seriously.
"no no i'm not." he said.
"yes you are i'm making you." i said rolling my eyes as i got out.
we had finished with treatments and decided on going to olive garden for dinner.
"dani i'll call you later or tomorrow we're going to team dinner." i said.
"okay bye keeks" he pouted. i laughed and hung up the call.
i changed into our zip up and some joggers since i was cold from the ice bath. i put on some socks and put on my birks. we went down stairs and went to olive garden. i love the unlimited breadsticks.
after dinner we went back to the hotel and i told daniel that i didn't want to facetime because i didn't want to be loud if the girls fell asleep. so we texted until i fell asleep.
