it was a great tournament we are still undefeated! carsyn, braylynn, brittney and i all made all tourney. which is pretty awesome. it's currently 5 am and we are heading to the airport. all of us are super tired since we got back to the hotel at about 10 yesterday and had to stay up for treatments.
"ugh coach i'm so dead right now." braylynn complained.
"braylynn we all are." coach said as she pulled up into the car rental place.
she returned the car and we walked to go check in. then sent through security and made our way to the food court before going to the gate. there wasn't anything open besides mcdonald's and coach wasn't to thrilled about it. we got breakfast then went to the gate and chilled.
~skip to when they get to california~
"keeks we're here cmon." carsyn said shaking me awake.
i gathered my things and we walked to the baggage claim. we were sitting and waiting for the bags to come out.
"alright girls you are free to go. rest up because we're leaving again next week." she said.
we all nodded and grabbed our bags. then we said our goodbyes.
"KIANNA!" i heard someone yell.
i looked around and saw my siblings. they ran up to hug me but i just walked up to them. i was super tired and my legs were sore.
"damn you look tough." kayson said laughing.
"yeah i know i only got like 4 hours of sleep. let's go i'm so tired."
we made our way to the car and i fell asleep on the car ride to the house. i woke up from hearing the doors close. i grabbed my stuff and went inside the house. i went straight up into my room and fell asleep.
i woke up and checked the time 2:47 pm damn. i was out for a while. i changed into some clean clothes and brushed my hair since it was a mess.
then i made my way downstairs.
"good morning sleeping beauty." kyler laughed as i walked downstairs.
"ha ha very funny." i said.
"well you might want to change into something nicer and take a shower. we're having guests over in a few hours." kyler said while continuing to chop up some veggies.
"what why?" i asked annoyed.
"kianna, it's your senior year. we all want to celebrate moments and accomplishments like these. you can't say no because we already invited everyone. friends and family." kyler replied.
"ugh you guys are are so annoying and supportive at the same time i love and hate it." i laughed.
"you know it." he winked.
"one, don't ever wink again and two, do you need any help with preparing anything before i go get ready?" i said.
"yes can you finish chopping up these vegetables for the pancit i'm going to start other dishes so when kalea comes back with the groceries it'll be easier."
"okay" i said.
i started chopping up all the vegetables. afterwards i thought i'd help prepare all the other things so kyler would be done quicker. by the time we finished it was about 4. so i went upstairs to get ready. i took a shower and changed into some jeans and a white off the shoulder top.
after i was ready i went downstairs. nobody was here yet which was good. my siblings were all still getting ready so i decided to help and start setting up all the food along the kitchen counter and the island. we had made a lot of food so i feel like a lot of people were coming.
