it's now new year's eve. these past few days have been alright. i had my 2 months with daniel. we spent the whole day together and watched disney plus. i wouldn't have wanted to spend it any other way.
but anyways as usual there was going to be a party at my house. the family was coming as well as the boys and their families and carsyn and her family. i don't know about brittney and braylynn yet but they were invited.
my dad and i are bringing in all of the fireworks to the backyard right now and let me tell you there is a lot. when i mean a lot, i mean a lot. pretty much his whole car was filled with fireworks. which i didn't mind because my dad always goes out for new years. even if fireworks are illegal like back in hawaii, arial fireworks are illegal but he still gets them.
we got the blow torches set up next to the fireworks. we had 5. after setting it all up in the backyard i went back inside to help my mom with the cooking. yes we cook, but we don't cook everything. my family usually brings food when they come over.
after cooking i went upstairs to get ready. once i was done i went downstairs. i set up more chairs and some tables in the backyard since i was the first one to be done getting ready.
then i set out the liquor outside knowing that we're going to be outside mostly. i grabbed some shot cups as well, cut up some limes and got some salt.
when i was done my siblings came down one by one. we finished some last minute setting up around the house together.
then people started showing up. my house was crazy again per usual.
"hey babe." i smiled as daniel came with everyone.
"hi are you excited for new years?" he questioned.
"yes i am! anyways you should go in the back the boys are lighting up fireworks already, i'll go make you a plate." i said knowing he was excited to pop some fireworks.
"thanks babe!" he said while kissing me on the cheek before going to the backyard.
"hi seavey's good to see you again!" i said while hugging them.
"hi kianna! it's always great seeing you!" keri said.
i led them over to where the food was and we started talking. about an hour passed and all the adults were drunk seriously. my family doesn't mind us teens drinking so i went and grabbed a white claw.
"hey you guys wanna go light some fireworks?" i asked the girls over the music while opening the can.
"yesssss lets go! wait have someone take a video of us!" carsyn said.
"daniel babe! can you record us lighting the fireworks at the same time?" i asked handing him my phone.
"yeah sure." he said and we went over to where the fireworks were set up.
we loaded them up and got the torches.
"3, 2, 1!" britney yelled and we all lit them up.
we ran back and the fireworks shot up in the sky.
"thanks for taking the video bub." i smiled walking over to daniel who had ended the video.
"no-" daniel said before getting cut off.
"run!" one of my uncles yelled causing all of us to run.
apparently one of my uncles put the fireworks in upside down and lit it. before anyone could check to see if it was in right. it exploded everywhere. luckily no one was hurt.
"babe are you okay?" i asked daniel.
"yeah i'm fine are you?" he asked.
"yep it's not like it hasn't happened before" i laughed.
"cmon lets go eat some fruit salad." he said leading me inside.
"you're too in love with fruit salad bubs." i laughed.
"it's sooooo good okay?! don't judge!" he said.
i laughed as he got us cups and filled them with fruit salad.
"you know i can teach you how to make it and then you could make it yourself." i laughed at his excitement.
"but i like it when you make it for me or when i eat it at your family parties it won't be the same if i make it!" daniel whined.
"babe it's going to be the same cause it's the same ingredients."
"no no no you have a magic touch."
"whatever you lazy ass" i giggled.
