Momo's brows furrowed while watching her friend sigh for the nth time for the past hour. She knew something's bugging Lisa, but the latter obviously wouldn't let her know anytime soon.
That's just how she've known Lisa all along. Her shell is not easy to crack, and her walls can be really too high to climb if she wants to. Lisa's a tough one sometimes.
Luckily, she has been patient enough to be one of the few Lisa confides in.
"I'm moving back here in the city," Momo says after sipping on her coffee.
Lisa's lips finally cracks into a smile, "That's really great, Momo," then closes her laptop to give her full attention to her friend.
Momo pursed her lips, her fingers running on her blonde hair, "I met a girl here in the city."
The brunette one raised her brow, "Now this is interesting."
"I'm meeting her again tonight. I just can't get her out of my mind. We'll see where it goes," Momo happily says.
"You've changed a lot, you know," Lisa chuckles.
"We're not getting any younger, Lalisa. I still like fooling around, but I guess keeping someone for a really long time sounds enticing to me. You almost got engaged, so I'm sure you understand."
Being reminded of almost being engaged made Lisa reminisce of those times when she thought Mina was really the one. Smiling bitterly to herself, she gave Momo a small nod.
"So how are you? Seeing anyone already?" Momo asked.
"No, I don't really think I'm ready for that yet. I mean... It's only been 2 months."
"That's weird, you look like someone who's on a one-sided love."
Lisa defensively crossed her arms, "What? I'm seriously not—"
Momo's booming laughter filled Lisa's office, "Chill, Lisa. I've been in contact with Jennie since the three of us have hangout."
Lisa frowned, wondering if Jennie purposely didn't bring it up or not... but it got her curious.
What could they be possibly be talking about? Did Jennie tell Momo about that crush...
"And I went straight up to her house last night, you know, catching up," Momo added with a grin.
She was trying to tell Lisa that she knows about 'the tiny crush' thing, which Jennie admitted to Lisa just three days ago, but Lisa seems to get the wrong idea.
"You're not hitting on her, are you?" Lisa's eyes turned stone cold, "You're not talking about Jennie when you said you met a girl, are you?"
Momo wanted to laugh at the venom laced in Lisa's voice. Lisa sounds like a jealous lover for her, but she also knows it's part of Lisa's 'protective' stance as Jennie's 'family'.
That's why she's here, in Lisa's office, trying to see if Jennie really doesn't stand a chance like the latter told her last night.
Lisa's really hard to read when it comes to these things, but she knows Lisa can be oblivious of her own feelings sometimes. Or is she really?
Well, she thought of a plan to find out.
-lisa-
What the fuck does 'nope, not really' mean when I asked her if she's hitting on Jennie?
No means no, right?
But why the fuck are they like this?
Momo engulfs Jennie in a bear hug and have never let her go since. We're at Jennie's house now, and I just watch as they have their little chat.
