Leave my girlfriend alone. Stay away from her. She's mine so fuck off.
I took a deep breath, pushing myself off from leaning against my car when I saw the person I've went here for, her eyes darting straight to me without any hint of emotion.
She looked calm and collected despite obviously knowing why I came here in the first place.
"Took you long enough," she crosses her arm, and almost instantly, I knew she's just like me. Anxious and angry, but trying to keep my shit together. For Jennie.
She's Jennie's friend. I know she's important to Jennie.
"Talk to her, Rosé."
That's why I can't tell her to fuck off.
Her arms fell on her sides, as if what I said caught her completely off guard. I know I'm not in the right place to demand it, but I need to at least try. This will be the first and the last time I'll ask her this.
"Are you dumb or what? You know I'm in love with Jennie. You heard me that night," she fumes, her fists balling which I didn't even notice reflected mine.
"You're not thinking I'm giving her to you just because I want you two to talk, are you? I'm not a fucking saint," I sarcastic smile made its way on my lips, shaking my head lightly at her, "I know you're still avoiding her. I'm not sure if I want to punch you or thank you, actually. But she wouldn't tell me about it, and she's your best friend."
"And you think she's the only one hurting here?" she laughs, and I know she's really furious and broken inside with the way her eyes glistened, "What do you want, the best girlfriend award?"
"For fuck's sake. I'm just sick of her pretending like everything's okay. I know she needs you and you don't look like you're doing better than her yourself."
"Oh, is she hurting a lot? Maybe she loves me after all, huh?" she smirks.
I squeezed my eyes shot in irritation, running my fingers on my hair before stalking towards her to grip her shirt with my one fist, "I don't exactly feel like being friendly today, Rosé," I warn her.
"Then just let me be or else I'll just keep on trying to snatch her when you're not looking," that fucking smirk is still on her face, making me grip her shirt tighter.
"Drop the act and just talk to her, at least just this one last time. She has a lot to say to you, I know it."
"A love confession, perhaps? I should thank you if we work it out, then."
She's purposely trying to annoy me and it's fucking working. For a second I considered leaving her alone, but Jennie's tired eyes flashed on my mind again.
I hate that she can't just fucking let Rosé go but I love her so damn much to not at least try talking some sense into Rosé.
"You fucking-"
"Lisa!"
Rosé and I's stares on each other went sharper as that voice I know very much lingered on my ears.
"Stop it," Jennie's hands went to remove mine on Rosé, she looked mad as I backed away a little when she came in between us. "What in the world were you doing?!"
"Nothing," I calmly said, realizing she just walked all the way here inside Rosé's subdivision.
She looked at me disappointedly before turning to Rosé, "I'm so sorry about that. Are you okay?"
I gritted my teeth when Rosé ignored her and turned her back on us, going back inside her house.
"So you like being chased?" I barked a laughter of hatred towards my girl's best friend. "You think she'll return your feelings if-"
