"Come on, it'll be fun."

"Lisa, my ankle isbroken. Not sprained, not dislocated, broken."

----------------------------------

– Wait, how was your ankle broken?

– I didn't tell anyone, not even Lisa, but... I got beaten up the day before. – I smile sideways.

– By whom?

– All the bullies, I guess? I couldn't see... I got burnt on my back and arms. Luckily, it's the cold weather, right?

----------------------------------

"I know but, you asked for it. I told you not to go to the skate ring without me and you did."

"Was this a payback, you wizard?"

"Maybe..." – She smiled – "Come on!"

"I don't want to go to a winter prom."

"Please."

"Lisa, I hate everybody there. Don't make me do it."

"Okay..." – She sat beside me – "I give up."

"Thank you."

"But you just cannot not be doing things because of them, you know?"

"Oh, I know." – I stood up and offered her my hand – "Come."

"What are you planning?" – She said and looked at me suspiciously.

"Oh, nothing." – I smiled and she took my hand.

"If you're planning to kill me, I'll kill you." – She smiled too.

I took her to the kitchen.

"You are planning to kill me."

"Don't be silly..." – I open the fridge and take a transparent box with a blue flower in it.

"You didn't!"

"Ah! Although, we are not going to the prom."

"Then, why did you by a flower?"

"I wanted to go. Now I don't anymore but..." – She smiled again – "I bought it for you."

"How can you still be this sweet after all that has been going on?"

"I don't know." – She smiled even more.

"Thank you but... Where will I use it?"

"Did you bring your dress?"

"Yes...? Why?"

"Dress up."

"What for? We aren't going to the prom after all."

"You're right. We're going for a walk in our prom outfits and coats."

"You're crazy, Noah."

"I know."

And she rushed downstairs to dress up as I rushed upstairs to do it too.

When I got back downstairs, she was ready. And beautiful...

She was wearing a blue dress and, for the first time, wore her hair with nothing but a white flower crown. I, on the other way, was wearing a simple black tuxedo with a white shirt and a blue flower.

"Lisa... You look... Wow..."

"Stunning? Awesome?" – She smiled – "You too."

"Shall we?" – She took my arm and we head to the door.
