"It was 1 or 2 months before my 10th birthday. He said I was being to grown dress- something all I know is he said some bout me acting grown." I said and looked at him and he glared at me.
"I got mad went to my room slammed the door all that. Like 30 minutes later he came back with this one dude I don't know. He whispered something to him and it went from there." I said laughing to keep the tears from coming.
"After the nigga had finished or whatever he said that was my punishment or whatever. He had watched the whole thing and didn't do shit." I said
"But it is what it is. I don't want y'all to fight argue nothing. It's done, over with, the past." I said.
"Bab-"
"The past." I said cutting my mama off. I looked at my daddy and he looked away from me.
"Anyway I need my hair done cuz this ain't it." I said patting my head walking in the kitchen.
"Y'all ain't got no typa food in this bitch." I said rolling my eyes and everybody just stared at me.
"What is y'all looking at? I need some food NEOW." I said and they continued to stare at me.
"Get out." My mama said to my daddy.
"Mama I told you-"
"I don't care about what you told me Jaliyah, Joe get out my house." She said and he looked at me.
"You want me to go?" He asked.
"To hell? Yea." I said.
"Joe get the fuck out!" My mama yelled and he looked at her.
"I ain't the one who did it." He said and I grabbed a orange and threw it at him and it hit him in the back of the head.
"Jaliyah you're waisting good fruit." Kind said picking it up. My daddy looked at me and laughed.
"Jaliyah you're a very strong little girl. Very smart and beautiful-"
"You're telling me things I already know." I said and he laughed.
"Why are you still here?" Lai asked him.
"Right like yo ass gots to go." Kind said and Uncle Trell glared at her.
"I'm sorry." She said.
"Jaliyah do you want me to go?" He asked me and I shook my head.
"Cuz what's the point? It's over with the only thing different is that everybody knows." I said.
"But if you want to leave you can it really don't matter to me." I said leaving out the kitchen going upstairs.
I went to my room and shut the door locking it. I sat down in the middle of my bed.
