I was at this counseling place with Kind and Trell. We were waiting to get called back and I was so irritated. I really didn't wanna be here cuz it wasn't gonna help with anything.
I felt eyes on me and I looked and seen Kind staring at me.
"Stop looking at me if you ain't gon say nun." I said and she sighed. She moved to the chair beside me.
"You ok?" She asked and I looked at her. I just nodded getting on my phone.
"Lemme have this." She said gently taking it out my hands. I looked at her as she put it in her pocket.
She looked at me with a smile and I shook my head.
"Tae." My mama said.
"Hmmm." I said and Kind looked at me.
"Don't go in that room acting a fool." She said and I rolled my eyes.
"I'm not." I mumbled and Kind just continued to stare at me.
"Javontae I'm not playing." She said.
"I'm not either." I said a little loud.
"You getting loud wimme? Boy I will hurt you." She said and I laughed.
"I'm sorry and I'm not gon act a fool." I said.
"Good and learn to treat that girl with respect." She said before leaving.
I sighed and looked at Kind.
"Why were you talking to yourself?" She asked.
"I wasn't, I was talking to my mama." I said and she nodded.
"You're very interesting." She said and I scrunched up my face.
"Quit talking like you don't know me." I said and she laughed. She put her hand on top of mine and I moved it.
"Sorry."She said and I rolled my eyes.
"For what? I just don't wanna be touched." I said and she moved to another seat.
"I thought you wanted to leave me." I mumbled.
"Javontae Hunter." A lady called and we got up. We followed her to a room and they all sat down except me.
"Don't make me get up." Trell said through gritted teeth and I sat down in the chair by the lil couch.
"Ok so are you Javontae?" She asked pointing to me and I nodded.
"And you two are?" She asked.
"Kind his gir- bab- I'm his friend." Kind said and I laughed.
"I'm Kentrell." Trell said and she nodded giving him a flirtatious look.
"Uh no bitch he's married." Kind said snapping her fingers in her face. Trell laughed slapping her arm.
"Bitch? Watch the language." She said and Kind mugged her.
"So what brings you here?" She asked me.
"What do you think? I need help." I said and she rolled her eyes writing something down.
"Why do you need help?" She asked.
"Because I'm confused." I said.
"Confused how?" She asked.
"What do you mean how? I'm just confused god damnit!" I yelled.
"Excuse me for one moment." Trell said before leaving out the room. You could hear him bust out laughing. I shook my head as he came back in.
"Proceed." He said .
"I just don't know what to do." I said.
"Has anything traumatic happened in your life?" She asked and I nodded.
"Tell me about it." She said and I shook my head.
"I ain't telling you shit." I said looking her up and down.
"Tae." Kind said.
"No, I'm not finna tell her random goofy ass shit. I ain't even told y'all." I said pointing to Trell and Kind.
"What you ain't told us?" Kind asked and I got up walking out the room.
"I ain't finna do this shit." I mumbled leaving out but I got pulled back.
"Tae." I turned around to see Trell.
"I've been nice to you this whole time you been putting my daughter through bullshit. The least you could do for me is get help. Sitcho ass down and talk to that lady. You have to tell her shit Tae. That's yo problem all you do is hold shit in. Then take it out on the wrong person. I want you to walk yo ass in there sit down and tell her. Tell her Tae. She not there to judge you." He said.
"I'm not telling her shit." I said.
"Then I guess you don't mind losing a good girl and your kids." He said.
"You're right I don't mind. Because they deserve better. Let me suffer I want them to be happy." I said and he sighed.
"I want to see my kids be born. I wanna at least get to hold them. Gimme 2 weeks with them all. But after that. I want them to leave. Leave me. Live a better life." I said.
"I want Kind to find her a good nigga. That's gon take good care of her and my kids." I said and he shook his head.
"Y'all ok?" Kind asked coming out.
"Just let me suffer." I said.
"What? Suffer?" Kind asked.
"After the twins are born I want 2 weeks. Will all of y'all. Then I want y'all to leave. Leave me and never come back to me." I said and a tear rolled down her face.
"I'm hurting you, I know I am. All I do is hurt you." I said.
"Find somebody better." I said.
"Imma get you everything and anything you need for them and stuff but don't worry bout me. I ain't no good." I said.
"Tae st-"
"No, no. I know what I'm talking bout I know what I'm doing and what I wanna do. I don't want my kids around my foolish ass. I want them to grow up seeing they're mother get treated with respect." I said.
"If you stay they ain't gon never see that. I'm sorry I just can't help it." I said.
"But imma go, you can call me if you need anything." I said before walking away.
