Today Lani was released from the hospital, also today she was finna get her ass out this house.
We were all in the living and my mama and daddy was tryna tell her but they was beating around the bush.
"Ok y'all taking to long, Lani you getting yo ass out." I said and she looked at me.
"What? You wanna be grown be grown." I said and her eyes started to water.
"If you cry imma whoop yo ass. Look ion know where you gon go what you gon do, but you better find out." My daddy said.
"You really putting me out?" She asked and they nodded.
"Daddy......." She said and he just stared at her.
"Mommy...." She said and my mama shook her head.
"Kehlani get yo ass out." Taylin said.
"Like right now, everybody done playing with yo ass." Kamiri said.
"Fine! I'll call my friend to come get me!" She yelled.
"You don't have friends, so who is this friend?" I asked.
"A friend." She said getting up and my daddy grabbed her.
"Boy or girl?" He asked.
"Man." She said and he laughed.
"Age?" He asked
"20." She said and I hopped up from the couch starting to fight her.
"When the fuck will you learn Kehlani?!" I asked as she cried.
"Kind quit!" My daddy yelled tryna pull me off of her.
"I swear I love you but I hate you! I just want you to learn Kehlani!" I yelled at her .
"LEARN! Please! Use this big ass head of yours mane! Learn!" I yelled as my daddy pulled me off of her.
"Please! All I ask! Stop doing this to yourself! You better than this I know that and you know that! Not only is you hurting us you hurting yourself! I know you are Lani!" I yelled as she just stared at me.
"Do better Lani please." I said bringing my voice down.
"Please. I mean how many times am I going to have to beat your ass for you to understand?" I asked.
"I'm sorry Kind I ju-"
"Don't apologize to me. Apologize to yourself. You're hurting yourself Kehlani." I said as tears ran down my face.
"Kehlani what can we do? Like do you need help? Sissy this ain't you." I said and she shook her head.
