Me and Kaizer had been sitting on this bridge for like 15 minutes just laughing and stuff. He got quiet all the sudden tho and I knew.
"I'm ready." He said and i nodded. I took a deep breath before standing up on the edge. I grabbed his hand and he stood up to.
I closed my eyes for a second and then looked at Kaizer. He still showed no sign of fear. I was scared but I made a promise and imma stick to it.
"On the count of 3, ok?" He said and I nodded.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you to." I said and tears fell from my eyes.
"1...........2.........3." He said and we were both about to jump but somebody grabbed us.
"So y'all crazy?" I looked over and seen my daddy. I looked behind me and seen Tae.
"Can y'all quit? I promised him." I said trying to get out of Tae's grip.
"Fuck a promise, both y'all bring yo asses." My daddy said trying to pull Kaizer but he wouldn't move.
"When the fuck you get strong like dat?" My daddy asked.
"Kind come on." Tae said and I shook my head.
"Kaizer told me he wanted to do this and I promised I would do it with him. Tae please let me go." I said and he shook his head.
"I refuse to lose another woman I love." He said and a tear rolled down his face.
"And I refuse to keep going through all this bullshit." I said.
"It's called fighting Kind. You have to fight, keep pushing." He said.
"I've done enough damn fighting!" I yelled, I looked at Kaizer as my mom and dad were talking to him. I looked at A'dream as she had a look of fear on her face.
"Kind please, I know you tired and you wanna give up. But everybody here for you, and Kaizer. All you have to do is talk to us." He said.
"Are you ok?" A'dream asked.
"No, but imma be ok." I said with a small smile.
"Can I tell you something?" She asked and I nodded.
"When my parents tried to kill me I was kinda hoping they did. Because I was only focused on the negative stuff." She said and Kaizer looked at her.
"I was so hurt and felt like nobody was there for me. But then when I met you." She said turning to look at Kaizer.
"And you." She said looking at me.
"Y'all made me feel safer. So even when I thought wasn't nobody there for me there was. I just didn't know it. I had to find out the hard way." She said.
