"Kind bring yo ass down here!" My daddy yelled and I sighed. I had stayed up til like 5 in the morning thinking about how to apologize to Tae.
I went downstairs and everybody was down there. I looked at Tae as he stared at me making me uncomfortable.
"Ight y'all -"
"Why?" Tae asked me cutting my dad off.
"Ta-"
"Like I know I slapped you but we not gon act like you didn't deserve it." He said.
"But because I did that, you felt the need to fuck my brother?" He asked standing up.
"Like did it really hurt that bad K?" He asked, I started getting frustrated.
"Well if you gave me a chance to get a damn word out I could answer some of your questions." I said and rolled my eyes.
"I told you what happened Tae." I said and he shook his head.
"Yea you did, but why. My question is why? Why did you kiss him in the first place? Like why?" He asked.
"I don't know, I just did it and it felt right." I said.
"But it was wrong." My daddy said.
"I know and I apologize I didn't mean for it to go as far as it did. I regret it I do I really do." I said.
"Whatever, can I go?" Tae asked and my daddy nodded.
"Tae wait can I talk to you in private?" I asked and he shook his head walking out. I followed him and grabbed his arm before he could go any further.
"Tae please just give me five minutes." I said and he turned to look at me.
"Three." He said and I sighed.
"Listen yes it was all my fault ok. I'm so sorry. I ain't even mean to let it go as far as it did. I'm going to regret it til the day I die, but please forgive me. Forgive him." I said and he looked away from me.
"Please Tae, it was a honest mistake. It just felt like the right thing to do at the moment. Just please Tae." I said.
"I love you, you know that." He said lowly making me smile.
"And I love him he know that." He said.
"But fuck both of y'all. I'm sorry it just ain't no coming back from that. When I see you and him I just picture that shit and I don't like it." He said making my smile drop.
"Javontae please I'm sorry." I said and he nodded.
"I know and I forgive you. But I don't fuck with you no more." He said.
"Wai- so we done? I told you it was a mist-"
"Fuck yo mistake." He said.
"We done, go find you a new nigga. Bet it won't be that hard." He said and I scrunched up my face.
"What you tryna say?" I asked and he laughed.
"Kind let me go so I can leave." He said.
"No-"
"Move! Like we done. No more Kind and Tae like what do you not understand? Get off of me you not my girl no more. You not my problem." He said pushing me away.
"If you think we done you crazy." I said.
"Then I guess I'm crazy." He said before walking away. I heard laughing behind me and I turned around to see Darius.
"It's not funny Dede." I said and he smirked.
"Lil Kind's a hoe." He said walking past me and I pushed him.
"I'm not a hoe. I just made one mistake damn, hop the fuck off my case." I said and he walked up to me.
"You is real beautiful up close." He said and I smiled.
"And you real easy to get." He said and I frowned.
"But bye." He said and walked over to Tae's house.
"Don't worry bout them." I turned around to see Quan.
"I'll try." I said.
"Quan." I said and he looked at me.
"Who's more wrong? Me or you?" I asked.
"We equally wrong. You came onto me first and that's like the second time I've done that to him." He said with a sigh.
"Second time?" I asked and he nodded.
"Go head and tell the story." I said and he laughed.
"Well his last girlfriend, her name was Aliza." He said and i nodded.
"She came to the house one time, but he wasn't there yet. We was just chilling y'know and then shit started to escalate." He said with a chuckle.
"Who made the move first tho?" I asked.
"Her, and I just kept it moving." He said and I shook my head.
"It took almost a year for him to call me his brother again. But I understood." He said.
"I just made things worse for y'all didn't I?" I asked and he nodded.
"But it's all good." He said and kissed me on the cheek before walking away. I smiled before looking at Lai and Aysia.
"But you get mad when people call you a hoe." Lai said and Aysia laughed.
"Here y'all go, tryna make shit worse." I said.
"Worse? Oh no baby we just wanted to tell you. Aunty Miya said since neither of y'all remember if a condom was used, if you come up pregnant she kicking you out." She said and my eyes widened before I ran in there.
"Mama you would kick me out?" I asked and she nodded.
"If you come up pregnant. I'll still love you and I'll support but just not in this house." She said.
"What kinda mom are you?" I asked,
"One who don't play wit kids that think they grown."She said and I rolled my eyes.
"I'm almost an adult." I said.
"But are you? No. You still living under our roof, so child get out my face." She said and I stood there.
"Oh shit." Aunty Mir said and everybody backed away from us.
"You didn't hear me?" She asked.
"Oh I heard you, just chose not to listen." I said.
"So since you had sex you think you grown? Think you can do whatever you want?" She asked and I nodded making her laugh.
"Get out then." She said and I felt my heart sink.
"You think you grown? Wanna be grown? Get out." She said and I shook my head.
"Mama I can't." I said.
"I thought you was grown." She said and a tears rolled down my face.
"I'm not." I said lowly.
"What I ain't hear you." She said.
"I'm not." I said more louder.
"Exactly, now get out my face." She said and I ran upstairs. This is why I hate tryna get in arguments with my mama.
She always shutting me down.
