Continuing from last chapter........ 11:20 p.m Kind POV

I was sitting in this basement waiting patiently for Quan. I didn't really know how to feel about him.
It's just weird being around him cuz I haven't seen him or talked to him in forever.
But I was also thinking about what Tae said. He know we still date, he just trippin.
The door opened and in came Quan.
"You ready?" He asked and I nodded. He came and helped me up.
"Imma lift you up, and you gon through that window." He said and I looked up at the small window.
"Quan my fat ass can't fit through that window." I said.
"Yes you can, now come on. And it's a little bit of a drop but you'll be Ight, and wait for me ok." He said and i nodded.
He cupped his hands and I put one of my feet in them. He lifted me up and I unlocked the window. I started crawling out as he pushed me up.
Once I made it out I looked down before jumping landing on my feet. I waited in my spot like Quan said.
A few moments later he came over to me.
"Ight come on." He said and grabbed my hand. We walked to the front of the house. We both jumped hearing yelling.
"Oh shit." Quan mumbled backing up.
"What?" I asked and he started pushing me.
"QUAN!" One of them yelled. Quan turned back around.
"Can you run fast?" He asked.
"Yea." I said and then a bullet flew past me. We looked back seeing them two niggas.
"Come on." He said grabbing my hand as we started running. After a few minutes we stopped. Quan looked around before looking at me.
"Here." He said handing me his gun.
"I want you to run. Don't ask no questions just run." He said.
"Wh-" A shot went off and Quan's body dropped. My jaw dropped and I looked seeing those two boys. They started shooting at me and I shot back.
I ended up shooting one of them before running. I looked back and didn't see the one boy so I stopped.
I felt a pair of arms wrap around me.
"It's Kayden so chill." He said letting me go. I sighed in a relief turning around to face him.
"You good?" He asked and I nodded.
"There's a ni-" Kayden's eyes widened before he took his gun off safety. He quickly pulled me behind him before two shots went off.
The other boy's body dropped and Kayden slowly turned around to look at me. He held his stomach as blood came from in between his hands.
"K-Kayden." I said as a tear rolled down my face. He fell into my arms and I started breathing hard.
"Kayden please." I said looking around.
"Kind!" I looked seeing my daddy. Once he seen Kayden his eyes widened.
"Kay." He said coming to grab him. His eyes were still opened but his breathing wasn't right.
A car pulled up beside us and it was Tae and them.
"Kayden- Kind what the hell happened?" Taylin asked getting out the car helping my dad put him in.
"I- What it look like Tay?" I asked and he glared at me.
"Come on y'all we don't have time for that!" Tae yelled and everybody got in the car except me.
I looked at Kehlani and she looked away from me.
"Kind no, just come on please!" My daddy yelled and I looked at Kayden quickly getting in the car.
I looked at Kayden as he struggled to breathe. I grabbed his hand and he squeezed mine.
"Kayden you didn't have to do that. You should've let the bullet hit me. I been wanting to die for a long time." I said and he shook his head.
"N-No. I wouldn't dare do that. There's s-so many people that care for you Kind. T-Think about Lai and A-Aysia, or Dream and Kai. T-Think about how much they love you. They need you." He said.
"Imma be ok tho. I want you to know you can have my car. As soon as you learn how to drive." He said making me laugh a bit.
"I- I want you to stop fighting. Forgive people Kind. The ones that ever did you wrong, hurt your feelings, forgive them please, life is to short Kind." He said and I nodded.
"I love y'all, let my mama know that. And Miya. Tell Kaizer and A'dream. Aunty Mir all them, Lai, Jamari, TJ, Aysia. Everybody." He said.
"Kayden stop, please stop. Stop talking like that, like you finna die." My daddy said.
"I love y'all so much." He said before his eyes closed. His grip on my hand completely loosened and he stopped breathing.
"KAYDEN!" I screamed shaking him and my daddy looked back.
"No." Taylin said.
"FUCK!" My daddy yelled
"Mane...." Kamiri said as a tear rolled down his face. I looked at Kehlani as she looked at me with glossy eyes.
"I fuckin hate you I swear!" I yelled reaching over the seat trying to hit her.
"Kind stop." Tae said trying to pull me down. My eyes turned pitch black as I got the gun off the floor.
"No! Kind!" Kamiri yelled snatching it from me.
"Ight we here, Tay y'all go get somebody." My daddy said once we made it to the hospital. They did as told running in.
"Kayden you not dead, I know." He mumbled.
"Kind please stop!" Tae yelled at me as I was still trying to get to Kehlani.
"I swear to god imma kill that bitch!" I yelled as he pulled me out the car.
"Kind I'm so sorry." She said with tears running down her face. I watched as the nurses put Kayden on a stretcher taking him in the hospital.
"Fuck you! You stupid ass bitch! All your fault!" I yelled as Tae held me.
"Don't say that to her." He said.
"Move get off of me! This is what I mean tryna save her! It's her fault and if he dies imma kill you! With my hands bitch!" I yelled.
I was done playing. With Kehlani, she had me fucked up. If she would have never been being fast they would never have had to kill that boy. My family just wouldn't be in this position.
I blame her. I don't care what nobody says it's her fault. Fuck her.
