Me and Tae was at my apartment just checking shit out. Everything was fine and looked how it was left.
"Ight we can go." I mumbled getting the key.
"Where? You don't wanna go home, or to the hospital. You don't even wanna go to my house. Where the fuck you gon go?" He asked.
"Never mind Tae." I said putting the key down. I went to my room sitting on the bed.
I kept thinking about what Kayden told me about forgiving people. I don't really do that a lot, because nobody apologizes to me.
I'm always the one saying sorry. I really wanted to beat Lani ass, but then again is it worth it? I mean is fighting her going to change anything? Help anything?
I just didn't know what to do at this point. Tae walked in my room and sat beside me.
"You ok?" He asked and I shrugged.
"I'm just so confused on what to do." I said with a sigh.
"I just wanna kill Lani. But then again I don't. But it's like I hate her, but then again I don't. I just don't know what to do." I said shaking my head.
"Don't do nothing. Karma." He said.
"Yea but sometimes karma take to long." I said and he laughed.
"Listen if you wanna beat her ass beat her ass b-"
"I tried and you wouldn't let me." I said and he laughed.
"Let me finish. I was gonna say if you wanna beat her ass then go ahead, but it's not gonna change nothing." He said.
"I know that's what I was thinking bout." I said and he nodded.
"I just don't know." I mumbled pulling my hair.
"Stop doing that." Tae said slapping my hand.
"I can't help it." I said bouncing my leg up and down.
"Did you take yo medicine?" He asked and I shook my head.
"Kind you can't do that." He said.
"I know I haven't taken it in three days." I said.
"Why?" He asked.
"Because if I pick up that bottle to swallow one imma swallow them all." I said and then he hugged me.
"Let me go." I said tryna push him away. He hugged me tighter.
"You need a hug." He said and I gave up realizing he wasn't going to let me go. I started crying and he rubbed my back.
"You tired?" He asked and I shook my head.
"Yes you are, when the last time you closed yo eyes to get some rest?" He asked.
"I haven't been to sleep in about 4 days." I said and he let me go. He pulled the cover back and took off my shoes,
"Lay back." He said and I did as told. He came and laid beside me.
"Love you." He said and kissed my cheek before I closed my eyes instantly falling asleep. • • • • • • • • • Same Day 1:20 p.m Javontae POV

My eyes fluttered open and I looked around. I was at Kind's apartment still. I looked beside me and seen she was still sleep.
I grabbed my phone seeing I had a lot of missed calls and texts from Trell, Kam, Lai and Aysia.
I called Trell and he ain't answer. I called Kam and he ain't answer either.
"Well what the fuck." I mumbled calling Lai.
"Tae." She said.
"Hmm." I said.
"You wit Kind?" She asked.
"Yes." I said.
"Y'all need to come to the hospital right now." She said before hanging up. I sighed looking at Kind.
"Kind." I said shaking her. She moved a little bit but didn't wake up.
"Kind!" I yelled and she jumped. She looked at me irritated and I laughed.
"Come on we gotta get ready." I said and she smacked her lips.
"For what?" She asked.
"Something." I said and she rolled her eyes getting up. She went in the bathroom slamming the door.
I shook my head going in the other bathroom. I hope that we was going down there for good news. • • • • • • • • "You ready?" I asked Kind and she nodded grabbing her phone and key.
"You take yo medicine?" I asked and she nodded.
"Ight let's go." I said as we left out. We got in my car and she sighed.
"Can you tell me where we going?" She asked and I shook my head.
"You'll see." I said and she sighed.
"Oh Tae I forgot to tell you Quan, he's the one who helped me." She said and I scrunched up my face.
"Ion give a damn bout Quan. But I guess I appreciate him for that." I mumbled.
"That gun I had, he gave it to me. Before them niggas shot him." She said.
"Quan's dead." She said and I shrugged.
"Ion care." I mumbled even though I did feel some type of way. I heard her sigh and the rest of the ride was quiet.
About 10 minutes later we pulled up to the hospital.
"Tae why are we here?" Kind asked and I just got out the car. She sat in there and I went to her side. I grabbed her arm pulling her out.
"Tae I'on Wanna be here." She said as I dragged her in there. We went in and seen everybody in the waiting room.
"Hey y'all good?" I asked and they all looked at us. I ain't see Trell, Ben, Kd or Kam.
"Tae I wanna leave, I don't like hospitals." Kind said
"What's wrong?" I asked again and Kamiya came over to us.
"Kayden, he ain't make it."
