-Chapter 26-

I was meeting the girls at eleven AM, at this private shop on Oxford Street which has themed clothes according to the costumers' demands: today it was Halloween costumes.

I wasn't thrilled to be spending the day with Barbara, but the rest of the girls would be there and since I have yet to meet Perrie, I was happy for the opportunity.

I had showered, washed, and dried my hair, put my basic foundation on, and was now standing in front of my wardrobe, scanning my racks of clothing.

I finally dressed and after packing my bag with all the essentials, I checked the time and realized that I only had forty-five minutes until I had to meet the girls, and it took half an hour to get there.

Why do I always end up late? I ended up heading out the door, keys in hand, five minutes later than I had planned.

---

I parked my car in the closest car park I could find, which was fifteen minutes away from the shop, and got out. I walked as quickly as possible from my car to the store.

The door chimed as I entered, and a huge grin erupted on my face as I became face to face with a store filled with Halloween costumes ranging from 3 pounds to 700 pounds.

"Cora!" Eleanor waved, walking over with a glass of bubbly in her hands.

"Hiya! I smiled, hugging her petite frame. "How are you?" I asked, pulling away.

"I'm great thanks! Oh, come join us, the rest of the girls are behind that screen." Eleanor smiled, taking hold of my hand and dragging me along with her.

We slipped behind the screen and I came face-to-face with Barbara. I plastered a huge, fake smile on my face before I walked over to greet her.

"Cora! How are you?" She squealed, hugging me tight.

"I'm fine, you?" I inquired.

"Amazing! Thank you so much for coming, I know you have a busy schedule and all that jazz, but it really means a lot to me that you came here... Oh, I'm rambling on! Sorry! Sophia told me you haven't meet Perrie, yet?" She smiled, taking my hand and leading me over to where Perrie Edwards and Sophia were chatting.

"Well well, Miss Russell decided to show up after all." Sophia grinned, embracing me.

"I'm still not used to driving around London, so blame it on the traffic." I lied.

I turned to face Perrie with a huge smile on my face. "Hey, I'm Cora, it is so nice to finally meet you. I love Little Mix so much, Salute is the most listened to song on my phone, and DNA isn't far away! Oh gosh, I'm doing it again. Every time I meet a famous person that I really like, I blurt everything out and embarrass myself to the extreme, like I am doing now.... I'm going to stop talking now." I blushed.

Perrie just laughed, and instead of making fun of me, she hugged me.

"That means so much to me, everything you just said to me is the same for you! Dark Paradise and Skyscraper are my favourite songs, ever!" She grinned pulling away.

"Right, I'm kidnapping Cora before she can embarrass herself even more." Eleanor giggled, taking my hand and pulling me towards the refreshments table.

"So, what are you planning to go as?" I asked Eleanor, picking up a glass of cold apple juice.

"I'm not sure, I'm hesitating between Medusa, a swan, or just going completely wild and just go through everything until I find something." She mumbled as she munched on some crisps. "You?"
