-Chapter 56-

"I love you." Bradley grinned hovering above me as I lay down on his bed.

"I love you too." I replied as I rolled my eyes.

"Then get up." He pouted.

We had been having a playful argument for the past five minutes about me not wanting to get up and go to the mall with him and our friends.

"No." I said, leaning up and pressing my lips against his beautiful pout. "I want to stay here with you." I announced, and lay back down again.

"Ugh, I give up." He sighed, moving off me and flopping down next to me on his bouncy bed. "You win." He announced and I grinned, turning on my side to face him.

"And you lose." I stated as I kissed his lips again.

"Promise me a few things Cora." Bradley whispered, wrapping his arms around my body and pulling me close.

"Anything." I murmured, snuggling into his side.

"Promise me we will never have a last kiss." He said, moving his head down so he could look me in the eyes.

I moved my head up to meet his eyes, and bit my lip.

"I promise." I whispered, pressing my lips to his again.

"Promise me we will never break up." He said, his lips brushing against my lips as he spoke.

"Why all these promises?" I asked, propping myself up on my elbow.

Bradley stayed where he was and only moved his eyes to meet mine.

"I had a dream last night." He announced, and I nodded encouraging to go on. "We got into a fight over something stupid and you left me saying it was the last straw." He sighed, running a hand through his brown curls.

I rolled my eyes. "I would never leave you over something so stupid." I pointed out.

Bradley and me, we are too strong to let something as stupid as that break us up. Nothing will ever break us up, our love is too strong.

"I know... Just promise me? Please?" He begged, sending me his best puppy eyes.

"I promise." I said, moving my elbow and letting myself fall back onto the bed, making it bounce a little. "If you promise me something in return." I added.

"What is that my love?" He asked, picking up a piece of my brown-ish hair.

That reminds me, I need to dye it again.

"Never cheat on me, and if you do, don't tell me." I said.

"Cora..." Bradley said. It was his turn to prop himself up on his elbow to look at me.

"Seriously Brad, if you ever cheat on me, never tell me." I whispered, looking into his beautiful brown eyes.

"I would never cheat on you Cora, I respect you too much." He announced and I nodded.

"I know, but if you do. Spare me the pain and just don't tell me. I would rather not know than know that I wasn't enough for you and you had to get it from another girl." I explained softly.

"Cora, don't say things like that. I would never even consider cheating on you in the first place." Bradley said, not quite understanding where I was coming from.

"But we are only 17 Brad, you never know what could happen. You say you want to spend a lifetime with me, but I'm the only girl you have ever had, can you guarantee in forty years' time you won't want to see what else is out there?" I asked, sitting up in frustration.
