-Chapter 60 // Epilogue-

Several years later:

"I am so, so sorry. I don't believe I ruined your birthday." I apologized, walking over to the bed.

"Will you stop saying that, you didn't ruin my birthday Niall." Cora sighed, getting up from her chair and walking over to where I was sitting on the edge of the hotel bed.

"I did... I did." I said on the verge of tears.

Cora stopped in front of me, and very slowly climbed onto my lap to straddle me. She put her hand underneath my chin and very slowly lifted my head up to see my face.

"You did not ruin my birthday." Cora said firmly, looking into my teary, blue eyes.

"But-" I tried to speak, but Cora pressed her lips against mine to shut me up in the sweetest way possible.

"The only thing that is ruining my birthday is seeing you so upset other nothing, please Niall... you haven't ruined my birthday, just being with you is enough to make this birthday one of the best I have ever had." Her lips brushed against mine as she whispered those words.

"But you didn't even get to open your presents." I pointed out, biting back my tears.

"All I want for my birthday is you." She murmured, as she pressed her forehead against mine.

"Cora..." I trailed off, my hands coming up to touch her waist.

The sun had gone down, and the room was only lit by the candles on the table. The temperature in the room had suddenly gone up and I found myself feeling a feeling I hadn't felt in a long, long time.

"Only if you want me too..." Cora trailed off embarrassed at what she had just suggested.

Did Cora Russell really just ask me for sex?

I can't believe it... I promised myself that I would save myself for my wife, so is this me giving up on that promise, or is it me finally listening to my heart instead of my head? Or is this me promising myself that I will marry this girl one day?

"Of course I want you... it's just... are you sure you are ready...?" I blushed.

Cora closed her eyes and nodded. She kept her lips close to mine as one little sentence, two syllables, seven letters and two words came out of her irresistible mouth.

"Marry me" She hummed.

I tensed, but soon after relaxed and wrapped my arms around her perfect body before getting up off of the bed, with Cora still in my arms.

"You want to marry me?" I whispered, tears forming in my eyes.

She nodded and tucked a few strands of her hair behind her ear. "I do." She murmured. "I do want to marry you Niall. I love you so, so, so much that I can't even put it into words. I am so sorry I have made you wait this long for me to say it, but I do Niall." She sobbed. "I love you, and I want to marry you." She cried, tears pouring out of her eyes quicker and quicker as every second went by.

"You want to marry me?" I whispered again, wrapping my arms even together around her body, as I pressed my lips against hers in a quick and fierce kiss. I could tell that Cora was about to deepen the kiss, but instead of letting her do so, I put her down and ran over to the balcony, where I threw the glass doors open and ran out into the cool night's air.

"SHE WANTS TO MARRY ME!" I screamed over the railing. "She fucking wants to marry me!" I shouted again, tugging at my hair in shock, happiness and desire. Cora Russell, the girl who has my heart jut asked me to marry her.
