A couple more weeks passed and at the start of the third week the rangers escorted the Protectors and Princess Roselen to her birth-right the grand kingdom of Storm-hold, Roselen was still so consumed with grief after loosing Eric that the thought of becoming Queen felt so meaningless now. After two days travelling the protectors and Princess Roselen arrived at the kingdom of Storm-hold, as they rode into the courtyard Sam jumped down from his horse and walked over to the Princess he smiled and said 'Here let me help you down Princess' Roselen swung her right leg over the horses neck and took Sam's hand as she climbed down.
Roselen smiled at Sam and said 'Thank you Sam' all around the courtyard people were gathering to catch a glance at the Princess who would soon become Queen of this great Kingdom. Two days passed and on a bright summers day preparations were underway in Storm-hold for the Princesses Coronation, the grand hall was decorated with beautiful flower garlands which hung from the rafters in the ceiling, the Chandeliers were polished until they sparkled and shined in the sunlight which burst through the stained glass windows and a gown made from the finest Scarlet coloured velvet with gold thread had been made and delivered to the Princess.
The same crown that Roselen's mother Snow white had worn on her Coronation was retrieved from the vaults and polished until the metal, ruby's, emeralds and diamonds shone like stars in the midnight sky. As the afternoon went on maids came to held Roselen get ready for the Coronation just as they finished fastening her dress there was a knock at the door one of the maids opened it and Perri walked in holding a medium sized wooden box Roselen smiled at the maids and said 'Would you leave us please', Perri sat opposite Roselen and said 'My dear I can only imagine how you must be feeling today, you've been through an awful lot recently. And now it probably feels like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders'.
Roselen gave a small nod and said 'I miss her I miss mother, and I miss Eric' tears streamed down her face, Perri pulled her into a hug and said 'I know you do darling, I miss your mother as-well, I never saw her when she was Queen of Storm-hold but I bet she was an amazing Queen and I know you will be to. I wanted to give you something today', Perri handed Roselen the box which she opened and inside was a beautiful white dragons egg Roselen smiled and said 'It's beautiful' Perri returned the smile and said 'It will hatch in time, and you'll be able to communicate with it just like I can with Saphira'.
Roselen hugged Perri and said 'Thank you Father' Perri was about to reply when a trumpet fanfare sounded throughout the courtyard he smiled at Roselen and said 'It's time, you can do this my darling. Make them believe'.

Perri walked into the great hall and joined the others, Roselen took a deep breath before walking slowly through the doors and up the aisle towards her throne she took another deep breath before turning around and sitting down on the throne. The keeper of the crown took the crown from the box and held it above the princesses head before saying 'In the name of all that is good and just in this land I crown you Queen Roselen of Storm-hold', watching Roselen fight back the tears pulled at Sam's heartstrings he smiled and said 'LONG LIVE THE QUEEN'.

Those words echoed throughout the great hall, Roselen forced a smile she looked down the aisle and thought she saw Eric walking into the hall. She quickly walked down the aisle but when she got to the doors there was nobody stood there, Jordan turned around and said 'What's she doing' Sam looked down at the floor and said 'Isn't it obvious she must of thought she saw Eric' as the watchful night closed in the celebrations were still going on Sam spotted Roselen walking on the battlements he quietly slipped away from the celebrations and made his way down to the battlements.
Sam walked down the steps onto the battlements and stopped beside Roselen she took a deep breath and said 'Have you been sent to babysit me' Sam shook his head and said 'No my queen I came because I care about you and you shouldn't have to cry alone', Roselen wiped away the tears that ran down her cheeks and said 'I don't know if I can do this, I know nothing about being queen. My mother was such a magnificent queen I don't want to let her down'. Sam gently took Roselen's right hand and said 'Your mother would be incredibly proud of you, and I'm going to support you as much as I can your not alone my queen' Roselen smiled and said 'Can I give you a hug Sam' Sam nodded and hugged Roselen as she hugged him.
Roselen looked towards the windows of the grand hall and said 'I guess I should re-join the celebrations' Sam nodded and offered his arm before saying 'Would you allow me to escort you my Queen', Roselen locked arms with Sam and they walked back up the steps towards the grand hall. Perri was stood talking to Ashley and the others when he spotted Roselen walking into the grand hall with Sam, Jordan leaned in and said 'They look perfect together don't you think' Perri nodded and said 'Do you think something special will blossom between them' Mitchell smiled and said 'I really hope so, my brother deserves to be happy. Just a shame he thinks he's no good for her and that she could never fall in love with someone like him'.
Perri turned around and said 'What do you mean he thinks he's no good for her' Mitchell took a deep breath and said 'That's what he said to me, he also thinks that nothing could ever come between them that people would try and stop them being together', Perri looked over at where Sam was standing with Roselen and said 'I would never stop Sam from falling in love with my daughter, I couldn't imagine a more suitable match for her'.
Mitchell smiled and said 'Are you going to tell him that' Perri shook his head and said 'No I think they can work it out for themselves', Mitchell sighed as Perri walked away and said 'I hope your right Perri, I really hope your right'.
