Chapter 2

"Dude, I freaking died again! Those dudes are really good!" I said and let my controller fall into my lap. I went into spectator mode and watch Max' character move through the field. "On your right!" I shouted as I saw an enemy pop up. Max shoot him and he fell down. "Got him!"

"Okay, while I'm waiting for Max to die, sent some messages! I'll answer a few!" I said and leaned back in my chair, taking a sip from my bottle of water. "Uhh, well, waiting for me to win this round." Max said and I hummed sarcastically. My eyes scanned the chat and some of the questions flew by. My eyes landed on one particular question.

"I'm a fan of Max. How do you know each other?" I read out loud. "Okay, so, I guess there are some new viewers. Max and I are childhood friends! Our parents were befriended and that's how we met. Apparently Max liked me enough to stay friends with me, even after he got more serious into racing." Max laughed. "It took you some serious begging." He laughed and I shook my head. "No, I'm just kidding. [Y/N] is a lovely girl!" He said and then focused back on the game. My eyes scanned the chat again. "Is [Y/N] single?" I read out loud. "All her life dude, all her life." Max said and I nodded. "You heard the man." I laughed and took a sip of water. "Norris in the chat. Oehh, Max, your friend is here. What is he saying?" I scrolled through the chat. "You stole my streaming mate!" Max and I started to laugh. "Sorry not sorry!" Max said and then he got killed in game. "FINALLY!" I shouted and Max and I instantly readied up for another game.

"Oh my, [Y/N]!" Max said excitedly. "What?" I asked with a frown on my face. "Maybe we can play with Lando for a bit or maybe in the near future!" Max told me his idea. That's actually such a good idea! "Ohhh, I would like that!" I said and I heard that Max texted him while we were waiting for the match to start. Lemme start up my computer. Max will give you my users! Lando said in the chat and at that second Max texted me Lando's users for discord and the Playstation. I added him and instantly his voice boomed into my ears.

"Supp ya guys!" Lando said excitedly and an instant smile formed on my lips. "Sup dude!" We all readied up again and waited for the match to start. Do Lando and [Y/N] know each other? I read in the chat and I laughed. "For the people asking if Lando and I know each other: we know each other a bit from when I went to races with Max." Lando made an agreeing hum.

"You should really come to a race again soon, bear." Max said and used one of my old nicknames. It's been a while since anyone called me that. My cheeks heated up and a smile crept up on my face. I really missed that nickname. "I really should, shouldn't I? I'll text you soon which is possible with my schedule and working ahead and stuff." I said after recollecting myself.

"Max is already gone!" Lando shouted when Max got killed the instant we landed on the map. "What a loser!" I laughed and continued to loot some chests to get some ammo. "Whatever, imma get a drink. Be right back!" Max said. "Max better sticks to racing." Lando said, making me laugh again. "You sure about that? You were there when he broke the pedal." I said and Lando laughed hard. "True that! Why doesn't he just leave the racing and gaming to pros like us?!" We went silent for a bit, focusing on the game and not really knowing what to say.

"So, what games are you currently playing?" Lando asked out of nowhere, breaking me from my focus. "Uhmm, currently a lot of Zelda: breath of the wild, thief simulator and F1 2019." I answered and leaned forward in my chair, ready to shoot an enemy player. "Cool! How's Zelda? I've been doubting if I want to buy it or not.."

"It's really cool! It's really different compared to other Zelda games and it has some cool aspects like cooking to heal quicker and the graphics are really good!" I said as I runned into a building, instantly getting shot. "DAMN IT! I WAS GOING SO STRONG!" I went into spectating mode and helped Lando move through the field. "You have a gameplay of it on your channel right? I think imma take a look at that before I make a final decision." He said and I nodded. "Cool, lemme know!"

Lando ended up winning the match and Max still hadn't returned from getting his drink. It was 2.13am already so we decided to end the stream. "Okay guys! I'll see you all next time!" I said before ending the stream. I logged off from Playstation but still stayed in the discord convo. "I'm pretty sure Max died on his way to the kitchen." I said jokingly and Lando laughed. "I guess so, yeah." I starred at my screen for a little. "I think imma head to bed now.. It was really fun to play a few matches with you!" I said as I emptied my waterbottle. "It really was! We should do this again sometime soon!" Lando said and I smiled. "Yeah, we should!" I said and we ended the call after saying our goodbyes.

Walking out of the room I shut the lights off and went into my bedroom. After changing into my pyjama and brushed my teeth. My face is really red.. I should set up my fan in my studio for some cool air while recording and streaming. Before jumping on my bed I plugged my phone in the charger as it had nearly died by now. My head met my pillows and I closed my eyes with a content smile on my lips. Today was a productive and fun day!
