Chapter 18

I wanna start this chapter by apologizing for not posting in like 2 months after saying that I would get back to it. Life is just really busy and the lockdown is doing a big number on my mind and my creativity. But here is a new chapter! Im going to try to post more consistently, but I can't promise anything. School is just a lot and then I also need to balance my social life and time for myself, so it's a lot. But we're surviving. I hope you all enjoy the chapter!

"And now stay in bed, okay?" Daniel said when he helped me get in my bed. I got fired from the hospital this morning and Daniel had picked me up. "I promise, Dan." I said and he nodded. "I'll personally kick you back into your bed when you're out of it!" He said with a smile on his face and I laughed. "I'd like to see you try!" I shot back and he shook his head. "Do you want anything?" He asked after putting a strand of hair behind my ear. "Some tea would be nice.." I said and he nodded. "Will be right back at you!" He walked out of my room and I closed my eyes for a second, thinking back about the past few days.

Lando and I have been texting late at night, most of his texts were apologies for acting like an asshole. We talked about his toxic relationship and how Jane had kept him in her grasp. During the conversations I promised him that I would help him get out of the relationship. While I was staying at the hospital I started to have dreams about Lando. A few times also about the events in England, but I'm trying to forget those moments.

"What are you thinking about?" Daniel's voice broke me from my thoughts and I looked up at him as he placed my cup of tea on my nightstand. Should I tell him about Lando? Maybe I should, then Daniel can help us as well. "About Lando.. He bought a phone that he keeps secret from Jane and texts me when she's asleep." I told him and Daniel sat down on my bed beside me. A look of confusion was on his face. "How?" Daniel asked and I shrugged my shoulders. "Maybe the confrontation worked but needed a little longer to open his eyes." I said and Daniel nodded. "How long has he been texting you?"

"He first texted me on the night that I got into the hospital.." He nodded, understanding. "Does he know that you were in the hospital?" He asked and I nodded in response. "He asked how I was doing and repeatedly said sorry for acting the way he did." Daniel now pulled his feet up on my bed and layed beside me. "He better did. The way he cut us all of wasn't normal. I'm glad he sees that now and is reaching out to you." I nodded in agreement and then leaned against him.

"Hello guys! Welcome to the stream!" I said in an exciting tone. "You have been waiting for this, for a very long time, and finally the time has come!" There was a hype in the chat and I smiled at the camera. "The 24 hours livestream!" I did some sound effects and the chat went wild. Daniel laughed beside me and shook his head. "Today we're going to play a lot of games, have a lot of give-aways, some guests and lots of fun!" Daniel gave one of his signature smiles to the viewers and I laughed at his enthusiasm. "Daniel's going to be the guest for the first part of the stream and then he'll provide me food, being the big brother he is." I said with a smile and Daniel mocked me.

"Watch out before I beat your ass!" He challenged me and I shook my head. "We're going to start by playing some Call of Duty." I said and changed to the right screen. "How are you doing, [Y/N]? Thanks for asking! I'm doing quit all right! I had some trouble with making videos and streaming, but now I'm fully recovered and ready to make content for you again!" While answering the question I handed Daniel his controller. The chat filled itself with comments from people who said that they're happy that I'm recovered. "Thank you all for the sweet messages! Let's start with the match!"

"No, you have to believe me! Max vented right before me!" I shouted into my microphone. We've been playing a few rounds of Among us with some drivers and some other streamers. "No, I didn't! You were the one venting, [Y/N]!" Max replied and I shook my head. "NO, I DIDN'T!"

"[Y/N] is the imposter, vote her out!" Everyone suddenly voted and I was the only one left who needed to vote. "Welp, I'm not the imposter, Max is. So I'm just going to vote Max." I said and confirmed my vote. The votes were revealed and I got voted out. Pfff, so much for speaking the truth. I sat back in my chair as I watched them go for the next round. I already finished my tasks before I got voted out. Charles ghost was next to mine and he moved from the left to the right. I mimicked him and then laughed before following Max around. "I hope Max gets caught and voted out." I said to the chat and they all agreed with me. "When you're imposter make him pay. I definitely will chat!" I said laughing and there was a soft knock on my door. Daniel came into view when I turned the chair and myself around. He was holding a plate filled with food and in his other hand he was holding a cup of tea. "I came me to bring you some food." Daniel said and put the plate and cup on my desk before sitting on the other chair. "Can I join for the last hour?" He asked and I nodded. "Ofcourse! We're playing Among us at the moment and I just got voted out because of Max." I enlightened him and he nodded. "So, if you're imposter next round you're going to get revenge?" He asked with a smug grin on his lips. "We definitely are!"

"Ohh, we're imposter! Finally!" I exclaimed when I saw that Daniel and I were imposter on the final round we're playing for the stream. "Let's get revenge on Max!" I said and followed Charles around to the security room, pretending to check the camera's. My fellow imposter is George, who's pretty good at that roll and won a lot of games as imposter already. "Let's find Max!" I walked around the map until I found Max and danced around him, signaling him to follow me. He did so and I lead him to a more scheduled area. "HERE'S TO REVENGE!" I clicked the kill-button and then went to a bit more crowded part of the map. The change that Max' body will be found is really small. "Nice one, [Y/N]!" Daniel said and fistbumped me. My phone started to ring and Max' number was shown as the caller-ID. I pressed the green button and I started to laugh. "I got my revenge!" I stated and I could picture him shaking his head. "And you got me in a bloody good spot as well! I won't get found there.."

"That's exactly why I chose that spot." I said and laughed. "Daniel is proud of me." I said in the microphone of my phone and Max laughed. "I'm sure he is!" Daniel held my phone for me so I could play and talk to Max at the same time. "Who's the other imposter?" Max asked. "George." "Ohh, you're definitely going to win this!" Max said. "I hope so. How many are still alive?" I asked Max and then a body got reported. We were only with five left: George, Charles, Silver, Joan and me. "Ohh damn, it's going quick!" George said, trying to cover up being imposter. "We do need to vote, I think.." I said and George agreed. "But who? Did anyone see anything suspicious?" he asked and Joan started talking about Charles following them around. "He followed me around as well for quite a bit." I said to make him look even more suspicious. "What?! I'm not the imposter!" He shouted and I really had trouble not laughing. "That's exactly what an imposter would say!" Silver said and voted. Joan, George and I also voted. Let's hope they all voted on Charles. "You know what? It's okay, we would have lost either way." He voted as well and he was voted out. "WHOOO, WE WON GEORGE!" I shouted and threw my hands into the air. "Whooo, so proud of us! And you got revenge on Max!" He said and I smiled proudly into my camera. "I did!" Daniel had in the meantime ended the call with Max. "Thank you guys for joining! It was fun!" I said, left the discord call and the lobby. I turned to the camera and waved at it. "Thank you all for joining the stream, I really appreciate all of you and wouldn't be able to do a 24 hour livestream without your support. Thank you for all the donations and give yourselves some rest! I'm also going to take a several day nap." I said and Daniel laughed. He said his goodbye to the chat and then I ended the stream.

"Pheww, that was something." I said and then yawned. Daniel laughed and helped me out of the chair. He carried me to my bedroom and dropped me on my bed before letting himself fall next to me. "I'm so tired." He whined and I layed against him, wrapping my arms around him. "Then take a nap as well." He nodded and wrapped his arms around me as well and not soon after, we were fast asleep.
