Chapter 4

"Over here!" My head snapped into the direction of the voice and I saw Max sitting on the hood of his car, waving at me. His car was parked just outside of the train station. I walked over to him and hugged him. "It's so good to see you again!" He said as we held onto each other for a little longer. "I missed you so much, Max!" We sat in his car as he drove us to his mom's house. She was on a business trip for two weeks, but let Max and I stay at her house for the Belgian GP.

"I'm so glad that you could make it! It's been so long since you last attended a race!" Max said while looking at me from the corner of his eyes, still concentrated on the road ahead. "Yeah, it's been a bit hectic with pre-recording the videos but I managed." I said as we pulled up on the driveway. He nodded and grabbed my bag for me. "You did quite some gaming with Lando, didn't you?" He asked as we walked in and Dilara greeted me from the couch. "Hey girl!" We said at the same time and laughed. I turned back to Max and nodded. "I actually gamed with him a lot over the past two weeks. Almost every night." I laughed and he smirked, seeing my cheeks heat up a bit. "I ship it!" Dilara shouted and I laughed. Max laughed as well and wrapped his arm around me. "I invited him over as well.." My eyes went wide. Is he being serious right now? "Really?"

"Yeah, but he's staying at his grandparents house. He will be coming over for dinner tomorrow though." Oh, well, that's a bit disappointing. At least I get to meet him away from the circuit, as some drivers are different then because of all the stuff happening. Max went into the kitchen to prepare some food for us and I let myself fall on the couch next to Dilara. "Aren't you vlogging?" Dilara asked with a frown on her face.

"Yeah, I'm planning on making just one big vlog about the race, but I'm not in the mood to record now." She laughed and hugged me. "I missed you. It seriously has been two months since we last saw each other!" She exclaimed and I laughed at her expression. But she's right, it's been a long time since I actual saw them. "How is the search going?" She asked and I shrugged my shoulders.

"Not really well, so I'd rather not talk about it..." She nodded and gave me an soft smile. "I'm sorry that I started that topic.. But I'm sure you'll find them someday!" I smiled halfly and just in time Max came into the living room. "Food is ready!!" Dilara and I cheered and we sat down at the table. "Oh wow, Max! You didn't let it burn!" I said and he did a little bow. "I've gotten better at cooking!" He said before walking into the kitchen to get us some water.

"It was about damn time too!" Dilara said and he mocked her from the kitchen. This couple.. They're going to be the end of me, I swear. Max came back and we started to eat while talking nonsense.

Dilara and I walked around the paddock waiting for Max to be done with analyzing the data from the first free practice. The weather has been great up until now, so we didn't want to spend it waiting inside the motorhome. In the meantime I was doing some shots for my vlog and then turned the camera to us.

"Dil and I are walking around the paddock now. Waiting for Max to be done so we can annoy him again. Ohhh, maybe we can annoy some other drivers in the meantime?" I asked Dilara and pointed the camera in her direction. Her eyes went wide and she smiled. "Let's do that! Oh Daniel is over there!" She pointed to the Renault hospitality that wasn't far away from us. "YO DANIEL!" I shouted and turned the camera around so it was filming Daniel. When he realized it was me he started to smile brightly. "[Y/N]! It's been so long since I last saw you!" He pulled me into a hug and let it last a while. Daniel has always felt like a big brother to me and has always been protective over me when I came to races.

"Way too long!" He also hugged Dilara and then turned to me. "Still vlogging?" I nodded and he waved at the camera. "Hello peeps! I bet [Y/N]'s vlog was about to suck so that's why my beautiful face is on screen right now!" He said while smiling. I rolled my eyes playfully. "Oh my..." I said as some weight suddenly was on my back. "Surprise!" Lando's voice came from behind me and I turned around. Oh boy, he's even cuter in real life. "Lando!!" I said as I hugged him and then filmed the two of us.

"Look guys! We finally met!" Lando said enthusiasticly to the camera. "Am I what you expected?" I asked playfully and he shook his head. "No, but I'll handle it." He laughed as I rolled my eyes and then laughed as well. Daniel frowned slightly but quickly smiled when he saw that I was looking at him.. That's a bit weird.. Well, okay, he must have been thinking about something serious.

"There is the man who took so long to analyse some data!" I said as I pointed the camera to Max, who came walking into our direction. He had heard me from the distance and mocked me, making us all laugh.

"You guys having fun gossiping about me?" He asked and I nodded with a serious face. "Ofcourse we did! We always enjoy gossiping about you!" I said and he pushed me playfully. "Did you girls eat already?" He asked and Dilara and I shook our heads. "Let's get some lunch then!" Max said and the five of us walked to the Renault hospitality. Daniel wanted to eat with us but needed to get his own food from his driver's room. Lando's phone rang and he picked up. "Sorry guys, Zak wants to go over some data.. I'll catch up with you later!" He said as he walked towards the McLaren hospitality. Daniel came back and then we headed to the Red Bull hospitality to get ourselves some lunch.
