We had sat there for quite a while just hugging until I felt better. "Thanks again, Lando, for listening." I said as I moved away from his embrace. "No problem, [Y/N], I'd love to get to know you even better." He said, which made me smile. "You're the sweetest!" I said and leaned back against the pillows. "What time is it?" He asked and I looked at my phone, seeing it's 7.56pm. I showed him the time and he nodded. "I'll have to leave around 9.. 9.30 the latest." I nodded. "But we still can do some gaming together if you feel like it." Lando said and I instantly started to smile. "Ofcourse I'm in the mood to game." I said and wanted to grab my Nintendo Switch when I got a better idea. "The attic is a gaming room, so we could play some Call of Duty there?" I asked and looked at Lando, who nodded. "Yeah, sure!"
"What are you currently playing?" Lando asked as we made our way to the attic. "I just finished the first Bioshock, so I'm planning on starting on the second one pretty soon." Lando nodded. "How is it? I saw some stuff from it here and there." He said and I set up everything while he sat down in one of the beanbags. "I did like it! The story was a bit slow at first, because you know as much as the character you're playing. But I liked it! It's really different from Zelda though, just a heads up." I laughed softly as I said the heads up and he smiled as well. "Cool! It's a shooter, right?" I nodded and he hummed. "Well, I'm still busy playing Zelda and I think I'll be busy doing that for a while. But maybe I'll check it out once I finished Zelda." I nodded, smiling. "Zelda will take a lot of hours! I have over 200 hours in it!" I laughed and he smiled. I kicked the other beanbag closer to his and let myself fall in it. I handed him his controller and looked him straight into his eyes. "Ready to get your ass beaten?" He laughed and shook his head. "No, I'm ready to win!"
I had dimmed the lights in the pretty dark room so the screen is easier to focus on and grabbed us some drinks from the little fridge next to the beanbags. Max and I spent so much time here so his mom basically made us a mini kitchen here so she didn't have to bring us food and drinks when every time when we were so focused on gaming. Lando and I just did a little competition against each other, not wanting to be bothered by people who are playing online or anything. "Hey! That isn't fair!" Lando shouted when I shot him while he was checking his phone for a minute. "Should've been paying attention.." I teased him and stuck out my tongue. He mocked me and I laughed at him. This boy is so funny! "You still have time to win this match." I said, but already had him in my vision again and shot him right away. "Or not." I said in a sarcastic tone and he sighed. "I'm not going to lose this!" He said and sat up in the beanbag. "Then you need to up your game... A lot."
We've been playing for awhile now and I've basically won every match we've done up until now. Lando can't really handle it which is quite funny to me. "HEY GIVE IT BACK!" I shouted when Lando grabbed my controller from my hands. "No!" He said and held it up in the air with his own controller so he still could play. "That's cheating!" I said and tried to get the controller back from him. "No, it's not!" He said and tried to push me away with his leg. "Just say that I'm better than you and it'll be fine!" I laughed and shook my head. "I just won all the matches, Lan. Admit it, I'm better!" I said as I tried to grab the controller again, failing too. Due to my attempt we were standing really close to each other and I looked at his lips which were only a few centimeters from mine. They look so soft and plump... His eyes are beautiful too.. Can this boy get any better? He lowered his arms, causing them to be resting on my hips and I saw him look down at my lips as well. I moved a little closer to him and rested my hands on his arms. "Hey guys-" "AHH!" I shouted as Max' voice suddenly rang through the room and he barged in. Lando and I quickly let go of one another and I grabbed one of the controllers from his grasp. "Did I interrupt?" He smiled and winked at me. "N-no, we were just playing some Call of Duty." I said and tried to hide my red cheeks. Damn, Max, why do you need to walk in now?
"Just wanted to let you know that it's half past ten already, I don't know when Lando wanted to head back home. But Dilara and I are going to get some sleep in a bit." Lando quickly took a look at his phone to check the time and it was indeed 10.30pm. Damn, the time went really fast.. "Oh crap, I'll help you clean up and then I'm going to head home." Lando said and I shook my head. "No, it's fine. It's not that hard to clean up and you still need to drive." He looked at me and I nodded, reassuring him. "Really, it's fine!" We walked back to the living room where his backpack was and I let him out of the house. Waving at him when he drove out of the driveway. I closed and locked the door behind me and crouched down. I was so damn close to kissing him! Why did Max have to ruin it?
Max was in the bathroom when I walked in to brush my teeth and he smiled at me. "Didn't do much gaming, did you?" He asked after spitting out the toothpaste. "We did actually. Until the last moment where you walked in." I said and started brushing my teeth. "Ahh, no, did I interrupt the two of you from kissing? Sad.." He said and stood behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and we stood there like that while I was brushing my teeth. This is actually really comfy! I leaned back a little and rested against Max' chest. He smiled at me in the mirror and rested his chin on my head. I broke free from his embrace to spit out the toothpaste and rinse my mouth. Max walked with me to the guestroom and sat on the edge of the bed. "Do you need me to be your wingman?" I laughed and shook my head at his silliness. "You can try, I don't know if you would be a good one." He punched my side playfully and I giggled. "Let's see then!" He said and pressed a kiss to my forehead. Max picked up this habit when we were younger and I would have a stressful day and it short of stuck and to be honest, I'm glad it did. It always makes me feel safe after a rough day. "Goodnight Max." I said as he stood by the door, ready to turn the lights off. "Goodnight, bear." He said and turned the lights off before closing the door so he could head to his own room for some sleep.
