Chapter 10

It's been a week and a half since Lando told me he has a girlfriend and I do have to say that I'm coping quite well. I've been working a lot, trying to get videos ready so I can go to Singapore for the race. Max wanted me there but he didn't give me a specific reason. I will be leaving in a few days, as I'll first go to Max' dad place where Max will be and then we'll fly to Singapore together. Bzz bzz. I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and looked at the notification. It's Max. I opened the chat and read the message.

From Max 7.58am.
Can we squeeze some gaming together in your schedule?

To Max 7.59am.
Ofcourse! I think I'm done before dinner so then after dinner we can do some gaming.

I laughed and got out of bed. Max has really been texting me a lot lately. Just random texts from things that we normally tell each other when we see each other. Not that I don't like it, but it's just a bit unlike him. I wonder if everything is alright... Ughh, I so don't want to get dressed right now.. You know what? I'm just going to start editing instead of recording.

After making myself some breakfast I sat down at my desk and put my glasses on. Most of the videos that I need to edit today are gaming videos and also two vlogs. I think I might just also go live on twitch once I only have one video left to edit. Let's just see if I'm in the mood later.

"Sup guys! I'm about to edit the last video for today and I thought, why not stream it and I'll answer some of your questions!" I said after starting the livestream. Damn, already 200 viewers. "Also, don't make mean comments about me being in my pyjama. I didn't feel like getting dressed this morning, so you will just have to deal with it." I said and chuckled to myself. I got all the files I needed, got them in my editing program and started editing. "When will you stream again with Max? Uhm, I'm going to game with him later tonight but I'm not sure if I'm going to stream it. Depends on how we're both feeling." A lot of questions popped up about Lando. Most of them asking what happened after the Belgium GP weekend. Let's just ignore those for now.

"Will you make a let's play from The Last of us part two when it comes out? Yes! I definitely will! I'm really excited to play the game." bzz bzz. I picked up my phone and saw that Lando had send me a picture.

Attached was a screenshot from my stream. Is he watching my stream right now? Ooff.. I should have gotten dressed. Ughh.. Now Lando has a picture of me in my pyjama, with my hair as a complete mess and with my glasses on...

I laughed and placed my phone back on my desk. I edited a bit while explaining what I did before checking the chat again. "Will you be streaming with Daniel soon? You seem to have gotten closer after the Belgian GP. Ohh, yeah I could ask him! I will definitely beat him though." I said laughing and more question about Daniel started to drop in. "Will you some day do a 24 hour livestream? I've been asked this before and I really like the idea! I just need to find some time to do it." I said and continued to edit the last bit of the vlog.

"Okay guys, I'm done editing for today so I'm going to end the stream and record some videos so you all can enjoy more videos on my YouTube channel! Byebye!" I said before ending the stream and getting up from my desk chair. Let's get some lunch, shower and then produce some funny videos!

"Heyyy Maxie!" I said enthusiastically when Max entered the call. "Hey bear.." His tone is a bit sad.. "Are you okay, Max?" I asked as I sat up, concentrating on the conversation. "Not really... Is it okay if we don't stream tonight? I just want to game with you and just talk..." He answered and I nodded, then realized he couldn't see me. "Yeah, ofcourse.. What do you want to talk about?" I asked and put my controller down, this sounds really serious.

"Dilara and I broke up.." He said in a saddened way. Wait, what? When did that happen? How even? Everything seemed just fine.. "I didn't see that coming.. What happened?" Max let out a sigh on the other end and my heart dropped to my guts. "Me neither.. Everything was just going fine until she snapped and left.." Max said. I've never heard him so sad before.. I really want to just hug him right now.. "Did she give a specific reason?" I asked and Max hummed. "She said I didn't prioritized her and  that made her fall out of love with me." Wait, what.. How? That doesn't sound like something Dilara would say.. "I'm so sorry, Max.. Can I do something for you? I could come over tomorrow instead of the day after.." I proposed and took a sip of my water.

"No, that's alright.. I'm still in Monaco and I'll fly to the Netherlands tomorrow afternoon. But let's just game for a bit, that will take my mind off of it. I think that when you come over I've had more time to get it all figured out for myself." Max said and I nodded, more to myself. "Okay, then we'll just do that. Don't hesitate to call me tomorrow when you need to vent or talk to someone." I said and I heard Max sniff softly. Is he crying? Awhh, my darling.. "You're the best, bear.. You're the most amazing friend I've ever had." Max said and that made me tear up a little. "No problem, Max, anything for you."

A/N the updates will be a bit slower, since I'm running out of pre-written chapters and I'm very busy with school and internship, but I'll post chapters as soon as I have them finished xx
