Q: Why are Vintage and Skull replacing Prince and Emperor?
A: In the splatoon manga, Vintage and Skull helped out Gloves and Goggles during the second run of "Hero Mode". They were inserted into the plot because they were considered "canon agents" in comparison to Olive's AU where Emperor was Agent 4.5, got into an argument with Gloves, and got Hypnoshaded by Octavio as he left.

Q: Where is this arc placed?
A: As of now, I do not know where it is placed. Theoretically, it would be placed after a remade Skyroad, but that hasn't happened because a friend of mine wanted to completely re-type Skyroad into Splatoon Manga: Skyward. Unfortunately, that got literally nowhere.
Q: What has changed about the story?
A: A few plot holes and wordings have been fixed, several fights have been changed, and there is now more swearing and violence! Warnings will be posted on each chapter about the violence.
Q: Why is there more violence/swearing?
A: According to the person who helped with Vintage, Vintage is a violent, ruthless, and cold kind of person (sources being the manga). In the manga, one of his original Japanese lines translated over is "let's shoot them down".
Q: Doesn't Skull have the trait of kindness and not confidence?
A: Yeah, in the Cuttlebone Crew he does. This is an au.
