I guess it's my turn next...

I mean it could be Nana or Goggles or Rider but...

I have a feeling I'm up next.

Am I ready for this?

"SKULL!!!"

"Oh. Hello. Didn't see you there," Skull said, shaking himself out of his thoughts.

He smiled awkwardly under his mask and looked around. He was sitting in the middle of Vintage's hotel room, as Nana sat next to Gloves, who was asleep from his fight with Hessomight.

"I asked you who you're gonna fight again," Vintage said, annoyed.

"Oh yeah. That. I just was...lost in thought. It's the seahorse."

Skull had forgotten his name, but he remembered how he hadn't seen him at all during the fight. He just shook his head at the thought. Skull sighed and looked out the window.

If I'm being honest... I'm a little concerned. I'm not sure about fighting an invisible enemy, but...so far, everyone else has done their fight successfully.

"We're back! And Flavo has been defeated!" Goggles announced, opening the door with Rider and Hachi following after him.

Vintage looked up. He'd dashed ahead all of them to get to the room first because he was tired.

"And thanks to who?" Rider smirked.

Goggles pointed at Hachi. "This guy!" he smiled.

Hachi laughed with embarrassment.

"Well...I did what I could. Vintage helped me though," he said.

"Great job, Hachi! I knew you could do it!" Nana cheered.

Hachi walked over to Skull and gave Flavo's knife back.

"Now we can finally call it a day... But first, let's discuss our plans for tomorrow," Rider said, spreading out a map of Nexus Laser City in front of them.

"So we've retrieved the Heat, Sound and Electrical Crystals. Tomorrow, let's go for the Chemical, Hydro, and Mechanical Crystals. Tomorrow is Day 3, so we'll spend that last day looking for... the leader. And we might have to find the Luminous 7's hideout, too. It's most likely that they're not done yet," he began.

"Actually, I have a program on my computer that shows me battle stats and comparisons of the surroundings like power, defense, speed, stuff like that. In the morning I can work on making it so that it will show up on our visors," Hachi added.

"Always at work, aren't you? Anyways, so we'll have Skull find the Chemical Crystal, Nana go after the Hydro Crystal and uhh... Goggles can go after the Mechanical Crystal I guess," Rider continued. "You'll find the Chemical Crystal engraved in a statue in the central park. The Hydro Crystal should be at the Torrent Power Plant and the Mechanical Crystal will be at the highest floor in the tower we went to yesterday, the Midnight Tower."

Skull looked away, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw Rider glaring at him. He decided to speak up.

"Maybe somebody else could fight the seahorse. I'm feeling really tired and not up to it at all..."

"Um... no. We're gonna get some rest now, you'll be fine." Rider said dubiously.

"Yeah, come on, Skull, you got this!" Goggles cheered.

"Excuse me? I just feel like I'd be better fighting someone else, that's all. I'm not going to waste my skills on a foe that didn't even fight in the battle," Skull said.
