How He Shows Affection

Neil: verbal affirmations
-he's rlly into giving compliments
-not super physical when it comes to affection
-he knows what it's like to want to hear love being spoken to him so he gives it
-also very observant of others' emotions and will notice when they are happier/sadder/ etc. more than usual
-and he WILL bring it up (privately of course)
-he always knows the right thing to say to you in the moment

Todd: physical contact
-not much for words, this one
-but you know he loves you if he takes your hand or rubs your back or strokes your hair
-nothing sexual about his touches
-he just likes the tangibility of this form of affection
-(it probably stems from his lack of attention and physical love from his parents growing up and he feels the need to show his love in the ways he was deprived of growing up)

-anywHO, he's probably scared of giving hugs and kisses bc that's Just Different
-so he absentmindedly does little things

Charlie: compliments/making people blush
-we all know Charlie is a flamboyant Casanova
-and he LIVES to make the people he loves blush
-if he doesn't embarrass you with attention then he probably doesn't think much of you
-definitely the type to compliment people on their ass
-*insert wolf whistle*
-mostly verbal but if kissing your cheek or getting really close to you gets the desired reaction, he's doing it
-he picks up on what gets people's blood rushing very quickly

Steven: sharing/being helpful
-he will go out of his way for people he loves every time
-you forgot your book for class?
-"You can use mine!"
-you're rearranging your room and need help moving stuff?
-"I'm not busy. I can totally help move stuff."
-he's THERE
-but not in the over-enthusiastic, off-putting way
-it's earnest and he thrives on being the Dependable One
-if he cares about you, he tries his hardest to take care of you

Gerard: hugs/embrace
-my tall boi gives the best hugs (something about that long wingspan)
-so he'll throw an arm around anyone to show he loves them
-he noticed when people are sad (other emotions are a bit fuzzy but sadness sticks out to him)
-and he always offers a hug bc he knows some people don't like being touched
-CONSENT IS KEY
-he loves knowing that someone he cares about wants to be held by him

Knox: grand gestures
-two words: hopeless romantic
-we're talking love poems, flowers on your doorstep, gifts, the works
-he will recite Romeo and Juliet outside your window at 2am (y'all know what part)
-of course, even the people he's not necessarily romantically in love with, he's still super extra
-probably gives THE BEST birthday gifts bc he needs you to know that HE CARES
