skylar has been talking to this guy for around 2 months now and only her mum knows about him because her dad is a bit overprotective.  

"Skylar where are you?" my dad yells from downstairs. "I'm coming, give me a sec." i reply while while walking down the stairs. 

"umm dad in the car can we talk please?" i ask my dad a little scared to tell him about my 'friend'. "yeah of course honey." he replies with a smile while we both walk out of the house and my dad locks up the house and i go sit in the car trying to calm myself down. 

My dad comes inside the car and starts to drive to my school. "so honey what's up, is everything ok?" i nod and say, "yeah i just need to tell you something." my dad nods in a reply telling me to continue. "soo umm there is this friend i have and umm its a boy, so he asked me to ask you if he can come over to study together." my dad signs and says, " Skylar i know what it means when you say study and whats this Boy's name?" "dad i actually mean study and his name is Hayden" "ok well he can have dinner and ill drop him right after ok?" i nod and kiss my dad on the cheek and walk into school 

after school 

"hey dad, this is Hayden and Hayden this is my dad." i smile and sit down in the car and Markus does the same. 

at dinner

"so Hayden, how was your day?" my mum asked he replies "yeah it was good, you know the usual." my dad didn't say anything on the dinner table so i was a bit worried if i did something. everything else during dinner was good just small talk.

after dinner 

i go upstairs while Hayden talks to my dad for a sec which i don't know why.

Hayden's pov 

"uh Mr Mendes can i please talk to you for a second if you can?" i ask very nervously. He nods his head and walks into what i see as an office. i take a seat and he does too. "so Hayden what would you like to talk to me about?" i look up and reply, "umm i would like to get umm permission to ask your daughter as my girlfriend."  He looks shocked at first then covers it up and says, "well i appreciate you asking me for permission, and you seem like a good kid smart, good grades so i do give you permission but if you ever hurt her or make her cry you better be scared." He looks very serious at me and i nod my head and smile. i say, "i would never hurt her, i really like her so the last thing i would want to do it hurt her." i say and he smiles and we both walk out.
