Heartbroken

im currently laying in bed doing nothing, and that's because Shawn is on tour so I'm bored out of my mind. 

i decide to change into some comfy clothes.

when I was almost done putting my shirt on I get a call. *incoming call from Shawnie* 

i run to my phone and press the accept button and turn the phone away from me because I need to finish putting on my shirt. "babyyyyy" i hear Shawns voice through the phone. "baby where are you I cant see you?" I smile and turn the camera to face me. "hi baby." Shawn looks me up and down, "damn baby." I laugh at his reaction. "Shawn i just wanted to change into something comfy don't worry." Shawn smiles and says, "how is my beautiful girlfriend?" I go and sit on the bed with my legs crossed and reply, "I don't know how she is, but I think she is good." I smirk but fail to keep it on my face for longer then 2 seconds and I just start laughing and Shawn joins in too. "look baby I have to go now but don't worry, you will be getting a call very soon." Shawn winks and we both say bye and end the call. 

i watch Netflix and all of a sudden my phone starts buzzing. i look at whats happening and see all these headlines saying, *BREAKING NEWS: SHAWN MENDES AND CAMILA CABELLO SEEN OUT TOGETHER! THEY SEEM VERY CLOSE!* another one says, *SHAWMILA? SHAWN AND CAMILA SEEN TOGETHER AT A CAFE BEFORE SHAWN'S CONCERT PHOTOS BELOW* I press on the notification and i see. 

i look at it and i know they are kissing. i don't look at anymore photos and i leave the house. i cant be there not now and maybe never. i don't even want to hear his voice or his name. i want NOTHING to do with him. HOW DARE HE DO THIS. has been been cheating on me for longer? what does she have that i don't? i try and stop my thoughts and listen to 'hold me while you wait' by Lewis Capaldi. tears rolling down my face. i walk down the street and people are looking at me confused. 

i make it to a park and just sit down on the bench doing nothing just looking at nothing just tears on my face. "excuse me miss are you ok?" i look up and see this guy. he looks around 6 foot tall, a lot of tattoos but it makes sense with him. i don't say anything and he sits next to me on the bench. "sorry for being rude i just saw you crying and wanted to make sure you are ok. My name is Stephan." i nod and reply in a very quiet voice. "sorry just found out my boyfriend is cheating on me with his best friend and my name is Kayla." "oh my I'm so sorry no one deserves to be cheating on." i nod and wipe my tears away. 

"well I'm sorry Kayla about your boyfriend but if you want to ever talk this is my insta.  @whoiselijah

i nod and he leaves. i check my phone to get 5 calls from Andrew, 3 from Brian, 7 from Connor and 10 from Shawn. i also got 5 messages from both Andrew and Connor, 8 from Brian and 30 messages from Shawn. i only open Andrews one and Brian. 

*Andrew* 

Kayla are you ok? 

you weren't answering any of your calls?

me: hi Andrew sorry for not replying I'm not going to pretend i didn't see the headlines because i did so, did he cheat on me? 

within seconds *text message from Andrew* 

*Andrew* 

i hope you are ok i think you should let Shawn ask that and can you call Brian please thanks. 

i call brian. 

Brian: omg Kayla are you ok? 

i don't say anything.

Brian: kayla i just want to tell you they didn't kiss. 

me: well that's not what the pictures show. 

Brian: i promise you i was there with them they were only hugging. 

me: no i don't believe it i cant 

Brian: look just please talk to sha- 

me: NO i will not talk to him i don't want to talk to him he can message it but i don't want to hear his voice right now. 

Brian: ok i will tell him, but Kayla just to let you know the call you were gonna get was supposed to be something he has been planning for months but i guess there is no use of telling you. 

*hears running in the background* 

*Brian says, "SHAWN WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" "SHAWNNNN?" "I cant do the show, i cant i need to fix this fucking situation i cant do this show if i was gonna ask her to move in with me and when she comes to my show I'm going to propose i cant."* 

Shawn was going to propose and ask me to move in with me? 

*"shawn are you going to her?" i hear Brian say. "yes i am, I'm not going to loose the love of my life because of some fucking photos that show camila and i kissing when i would NEVER cheat on Kaylar EVER and i know she doesn't want to see me right now but i have to try my best I'm going to fight for her.* 

i start crying again and end the call. '

i call shawn. 

"kayla? baby? I'm so sorry. please just hear me out." 

me: shawn? did you kiss Camila? 

shawn: no of course not I'm with you. 

me: shawn i heard everything you said because i was on the phone with Brian. 

shawn: oh well i guess you know how much you mean to me. i love you Kayla i do i really do and nothing is going to stop me from loving you. I'm catching the earliest flight back to your apartment. 

me: ok Shawn. 

i end the call.
