Can't Live Without You

CH. 8

It's the first day of class(es).

Bakugo and Izuku had spent the past couple of days getting the last things the omega needed to make himself at home in the dorm room. They bought some groceries, some furniture, clothing, school supplies, and toiletries they both needed. The entire time Bakugo was a total gentleman; he held doors for Izuku, carried the bags, had Izuku walk on the side of the side walk away from traffic/moving cars, and would pay for lunch if they were out for too long. Izuku would try and insist that he could do things on his own or pay for his own meals, but Bakugo always refused; giving some excuse/joke as to why he couldn't. Although on the outside it looked like Izuku was annoyed and/or unmoved by the alphas gestures, on the inside his heart was beating so fast and loudly that he was surprised Bakugo never noticed. When they returned home Bakugo always made a delicious dinner and the two would watch tv and catch up with what the two had missed from the time they were apart.

Though it has only been about a week since the two became roommates, Izuku grew accustomed to having the alpha around. Although he felt his heart flutter at the sheer sound of the alphas deep masculine voice, he was still a little weary about the alphas actions. Yes he did still have some feelings for Bakugo and with just a few days his affections kept growing, but there was a constant battle between heart and mind. Izukus mind saying that he should be weary of someone who could cheat at any moment while his heart said that this is the man that he should be with for the rest of his life. When he would think about his chances he possibly had with the alpha, even if it was microscopic, he would be abruptly reminded that the alpha was taken.

There were times where they would talk and Bakugo would either get a call or text(s) from Camie. Though the couples conversation never lasted long, it was Izukus constant reminder that Bakugo was in a relationship; that after their kiss Bakugo still chose Camie. To Izuku, it didn't seem like the two were going their separate ways anytime soon so he knew that he should maybe find comfort in another's arms. Though he knew this he couldn't suppress his ever growing feelings. The more the two spent time together, the more the omega longed to be by the alpha. He needed to figure out what he wanted to do with his feelings: to either follow his heart and confess or go with his mind and find someone else? He thought about this every night since moving into the dorms.

"Hmm, I wonder where room 1-A is?", Izuku thought to himself as he walked down the hall looking for his class. Bakugo had basketball practice in the morning so he took off much earlier than Izuku did.

"Ah, here it is", Izuku said as he headed for the classroom door. He slid it open and was surprised at who he saw.

"Eh, Uraraka-san? Iida? Tsu-chan? Everyone?", Izuku said. They looked back to see who called their names.

"Izuku? Oh my god I'm so glad to see you!", Uraraka said as she ran up hugging the greenette.

"Wow, and so stylish too~", Mina said admiring her friends clothing.

Izuku was wearing a fitted long sleeve black turtleneck shirt, tucked into white high rise shorts with a black belt, a pair of black high top converse, and his yellow backpack he has used since middle school; he had also just put on some chap stick. Although the majority of Izuku's closet consisted of 'nerdy' clothing, he did like to dress up from time to time. Now that he was in university, he doesn't have to restrict himself to a dress code, he could wear what he wanted to wear; free of restrictions.

"Ah yeah", Izuku said with a smile and blush. Izuku continued to say hi and catch up with the rest of his friends.

Izuku and Shinso sat in the second row, while Momo, Jiro, Iida and Uraraka sat in the first row, and Mina, Tsuyu, and Denki sat in the third row. As they continued to talk, the rest of the classroom went silent and began whispering to each other.
