Can't Live Without You

CH. 16

Izuku woke up to the smell of bacon being made. He groggily sat up from his bed and rubbed his eyes with a yawn. He slid the blanket off his small body and decided to follow the delicious scent. Before he could even take a step, his legs went weak and he fell to his knees, yelping in surprise.

'Why do my legs feel so sore?' Izuku thought to himself. He examined his legs and noticed a bandage wrap on his left calf. He grazed the bandage in curiosity and when he touched the middle of the bandage he winced in pain, then the events that occurred last night came flooding in.

'I remember now! I did all those things with Kacchan! He confessed; I confessed! Then we ...' Izuku thought to himself, recalling the intimacy he had with the alpha. His face felt so hot you could probably see steam coming out of his ears. The omega suddenly recalled every graze of the alpha's fingers, every touch, every kiss, and every word that was said.

As he was recalling the previous night, Bakugo came into the room to investigate the noise and make sure his omega was okay. When he looked down at Izuku sitting on the floor, he chuckled at himself, his alpha feeling a sense of pride at the fact that he made the omega unable to walk properly from their activity the previous night.

"Well well, looks like someone had a good time last night~", the alpha grinned.

Izuku could not look towards Katsuki because he was still reminiscing what the alpha did to him only a few hours ago.

"I ... I...", Izuku could not form a response.

Katsuki then bent down and picked up Izuku bridal style; the action causing the omega to yelp in response.

"I'm making breakfast. You should eat with me", the alpha smiled towards his omega. Izuku shyly nodded and Katsuki carried him and placed him on the living room couch where he could sit comfortably. Once he finished making breakfast, he brought the plates and drinks to the living room so they could eat breakfast on the couch.

"T-thank you", Izuku shyly said as he took his plate from Katsuki, face still as red as an apple. Katsuki turned the TV on, sensing that Izuku was still embarrassed from last night's events. Once the two finished their breakfast Katsuki took the dirty dishes and placed them in the sink to wash later.

"Hey babe, are you okay?", Katsuki asked sitting on the coffee table in front of Izuku.

Izuku felt his heart quicken at the term babe. "Y-yeah...just...thinking about a lot right now...", Izuku said fidgeting with his fingers.

"You want to talk?", Katsuki said, taking Izuku's hands in his own to stop the boys fidgeting. He used to do it a lot when they were kids, kind of like a coping mechanism.

"Well, there's a lot I want to talk about", Izuku said glancing up slightly to meet Katsuki's eyes.

"Well, I'm all ears", Katsuki said.

"Well ... yesterday was just ... a lot... to take in at once", Izuku said feeling his face begin to heat up again.

"So um, did you really mean it? When you said you liked me?", Izuku said, meeting the eyes of the blonde alpha.

"Of course I did!", Bakugo replied. Izuku felt the heat on his cheeks rise.

"But I'm just a 'nerd' who you pick on all the time, how do I know that you aren't just playing with me? What is it exactly that you like about me?", Izuku asked. Though he did have a majority of his doubts cleared last night, there was only one thing that he needed clarification on: what was it that the alpha found attractive about the omega?

"Deku, I know in the past I haven't been the nicest person to you and when the time is right I will explain everything, but know that my feelings for you are genuine", Bakugo said as he placed Izuku's hand over his fast-paced beating heart. Izuku was in shock at how fast it was beating.
