Can't Live Without You

CH. 29

*SMUT*

After having a celebratory diner at the Bakugo household, Izuku decided that he wanted to sleep over at Bakugo's house.

"Wow, your room has changed so much~", Izuku said as he walked into the room as Katsuki opened the door for him.

There were two shelves filled with trophies and awards that Bakugo had won: both academic and athletic. He had a few posters of All Might hanging on the walls, an old, beaten up desk by his window, a shelf filled with pictures and action figures, a walk in closet, and a bathroom; his house was much bigger than his, even his room was practically twice the size of his own.

As he continued to walk around the room, he walked up to the shelf with the action figures and pictures. As he scanned through the items, his eyes widened at a small picture frame that was on top of the shelf. He stood on his toes, grabbed the picture, and smiled happily. It was a picture of the two when they were younger after Katsuki had won his first basketball game; it was the same picture Izuku carried around in his wallet. Katsuki snaked his arms around Izuku's waist and placed his chin on his shoulder.

"I can't believe you still have this picture Kacchan", Izuku said as his fingers grazed the glass.

"Of course, I have it! Why wouldn't I?", Katsuki asked.

"Well, after everything that happened between us ... I thought that you got rid of everything", Izuku said with a somber expression.

Katsuki grabbed Izuku's hand and lead him to sit at the edge of the bed.

"Listen Deku, there's a reason I was so mean to you after you were kidnapped...", Katsuki said. Izuku tightly held on to Katsuki's hand and smiled at the blonde.

"Did you find out the full details about your kidnapping?", Katsuki asked.

"No ... All I know is that I was missing for a week. Maybe because of the beatings I got, my memories are a bit hazy from that time", Izuku said as he glanced down at the picture he was still holding onto. Katsuki tightened his grip on Izuku's hand. Izuku let go of the picture and caressed the alpha's cheek.

"Hey, it's okay", Izuku said.

"No, it's not. Because of those fucking bastards you were placed in a coma for almost a week! One day when we were waiting at the hospital, an officer came in and told us that those low-lives were part of a sex trafficking ring and were planning to sell you...", Katsuki stated. As he was talking, his hands were trembling, breath a bit shaky.

Izuku brought the alphas head near his scent gland, releasing a bit of his scent to calm the alpha down as he ran one hand through his hair and rubbed his back. His mom had never told him any of this information, only that he was kidnapped and nothing more. Hearing all this from Katsuki was new to him, and he now understood why his mom never talked about that time again. He had to stay strong for Katsuki so he could continue to talk about his feelings, fearing that if he showed signs of sadness or fear that Katsuki would be hesitant to go on.

"...after you woke up, after seeing how you and your mom were crying, I had decided that if I couldn't protect you then, I was never going to be able to protect you. So I decided to push you away so you could find someone better to protect you...", Katsuki said as he held onto Izuku tightly.

"I'm so sorry for everything I did to you! I'm sorry for pushing you away when you needed me most! You didn't deserve it ... all because my stupid alpha pride got in the way, I couldn't see how much I was hurting you. I'm so sorry Deku", Katsuki said.

Izuku held the alpha tightly as he felt droplets of water seep into his shirt.

"Kacchan, what matters is that you're here now. You've acknowledged your mistakes and you are making up for them now", Izuku said as he held the alpha's face, staring into the crimson red orbs.
